1. Tell us about your journey. What do you do and what do you love about it?

I started my writing journey 6 years ago as a content writer in the tech and e-commerce sector.  I see the need for top-notch content to help tech companies and individuals understand more about the emergence of technology. I decided to be part of the relevant individuals that will enlighten people in this area.

I love that I can reach a larger audience through my tech content/writeups. Technological awareness and advancements can help people complete tasks more efficiently, keep them safer and healthier and also protect them from unknown attacks.

2. Tell us more about your work. What do you make/write/manage/build?

I am a  Digital PR Expert, And an Online Marketing Consultant.  I am more interested in creating content/awareness in the cybersecurity sector. Looking at the rate of cyberattacks, companies and individuals need to be enlightened about cyberattacks and how to curb them whenever it arises.

3. How did you start writing? What made you choose HackerNoon for publishing your work?

I started writing 6 years ago and I want to reach out to a larger audience through my content. The goal has always been to teach people about the emergence of technology and how businesses and individuals can stay safe in the online space. Hackernoon is a powerful tech publication with a great community I am honored to share my content with the august audience of this family.

4. What excites you in tech? Tell us about your favorite technology and why you are passionate about it.

For me, the most exciting aspect of technology is that "everything is possible." Our "imagination" of new technologies and "how to attain" them is the only thing that constrains us. New innovations are taking technology to another level.

5. What were some of the challenges you faced being a tech writer and how did you overcome them?

Getting resources is one of the problems I faced when starting out. I had to read a lot and make more research.

6. What are you learning/reading currently? Any recommendations for our readers?

I am currently learning more about cloud security. Cloud-based security companies are required as more businesses move their data to the cloud, protecting it and ensuring its security is an important aspect. Organizations that are moving to the cloud require security experts who are familiar with it, especially people that will give n depth knowledge in case of crisis. You will therefore have the necessary groundwork to secure data in the cloud thanks to the cloud security competence.

7. What is your biggest achievement so far?

Being nominated as HackerNoon Contributor of the Year is a big one for me and I’ll like to win.

8. If we gave you 10 million dollars to invest in something today, what would you invest in and why?

That will be a dream come true😊! I will invest in a tech security startup because the technology industry is experiencing a fantastic range of new opportunities, in terms of cryptocurrency, metaverse, web3.0, and more. And the more the opportunity the higher the risk it brings to our daily life. There is a need for high-security awareness, so ill invest in a tech publication that enlightens people on how to stay safe in the midst of high technological advancement.

9. What advice would you give to someone just starting in this field?

For someone who is just starting I’ll advise you to start with your current skills, then learn more by improving yourself. Lastly, the key to success in the field is consistency.

10. What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

Never give up on my dreams, and keep creating and distributing your work in public. And when the time comes, your work will speak for you. Additionally, publishing your work creates a digital footprint for you online that establishes your authority and respect in your industry.
