In 1930, British economist <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Maynard_Keynes" target="_blank">John Maynard Keynes</a> <a href="http://www.econ.yale.edu/smith/econ116a/keynes1.pdf" target="_blank">predicted</a> that technological change and productivity improvements would eventually lead to a 15 hour workweek. But today most of the people still work 40 hours or more per week.
