The Game Awards 2021 had many surprises in store for gamers. It Takes Two achieved numerous awards, including Game of the Year. New trailers for upcoming games were shown, including a cinematic trailer for Elden Ring and a trailer for Destiny 2's newest expansion. Brand-new games were shown off, including Star Wars Eclipse and Space Marine 2. And, of course, fans were treated to a brand new trailer for the second Sonic the Hedgehog movie.
