We need to know what we're looking for and how we’ll find it. The key is to ask good questions with good follow-ups. We want to avoid focusing too much on companies they’ve worked for or the context of previous jobs. The point is not to find out if the candidate is a good communicator. It is to see if they can communicate with you. We shouldn’t feel bossy asking questions like this should be friendly and approachable.
