They have a fantastic movement system and the sound and visuals are top notch. Having nothing to do can be fixed given enough time. There are always the examples of No Man's Sky and FFXIV for comeback stories and I'm sure Bioware will have the money to pump in after they release the Mass Effect remake. It's like Destiny 2 at launch with great systems and visuals with nothing else. It needs more interesting loot, more levels and, well, more everything. If Anthem were to follow Destiny, it would need loot to chase with something as desirable as exotics as well as randomised loot if it were to follow its "games as a service" model. It would also need something to do with them. Destiny has its PvP and raids. The game world itself is equally boring with little to do. The same issues existed with Division 2 at launch and the Avengers game. Nicolas Ng Feb 17, 2021, 10:33 PM Yeah, I agree, the game needs a much better grind. I'm hoping EA gives it another shot. Avengers is another example of how games as a service model can fail if it's not supported correctly. Jack Boreham Feb 18, 2021, 1:48 AM Support is really key. It really bummed me out when I heard that the team handing Anthem NEXT was only 30 people. Bioware really needed to commit to redoing it for any hope for success.
