Getting emotionally attached to your investment and making a decision to hold against all odds almost always never ends well. That statement baffled me at the time. But now in hindsight, it’s easy to see how wrong his statement was. Typically, an Investor whose objective is to preserve capital will seek lower-risk real estate investment. Low-risk real estate investment may include properties that produce cash flow right off the boat without having to improve the property and are located in good or high-quality locations with high-quality tenants.
