Decentralized Web vs. decentralized Net: What Do They Have in Common? How do they differ from the Internet vs. the decentralized net? Let's compare them on accessibility aspects and practical aspects such as cybercrimes and investment soundness. In time, decentralized infrastructure and application platforms should displace centralized tech giants and allow individuals to own their data rightfully. The Internet still facilitates a number of crimes, from pedophilia and terrorist propaganda to the dissemination of fake news, to the disseminating of cyber-crimes enabling identity theft.
