While it is stated that creatives derive the most value from the cards, you should not assume that if you were in business that this would not be a viable approach. You might begin with an abstract thought, scribble your notes, and identify a few points that seem more conceptual. You then conduct your market analyst validation, and if the market appears to be under the radar, you may not bother. You get back to your notes to find the answer here or change course to something else entirely. The deck has still worked since it got you to take action.
