We are excited to announce that we have completed the transition to our new back-end system. There have been many long and sleepless nights getting here in the last few weeks, but it’s ready to be played with.
There is a Python user client now available at our GitHub. The documentation to install and run this code is also in the repo. We have tested it against Meta Mask to verify that it behaves as a local zero client.
You can also inject commands from any Web 3 interface that binds to the local loop back. This client is an http server that accepts http requests and forwards them into our system.
We are working to make it behave exactly as a local node would. While we first turn on the system we will be running worker nodes in the cloud. This is a temporary solution until we have a sufficient tester base to turn off our own workers.
We will be releasing the new version of the Rust worker client in the coming days. If there are specific features that you need that you would like us to prioritize please get in touch with us.
Our blockchain push notification proof of concept, Eth-Watch is now a little more stylish with it’s new logo (see below). Keep an eye out for more design updates in the near future.
We just recently posted a new quiz on Buzzfeed, “How Much Do You Know About Ethereum?” Check it out and let us know how you did!
