Our company was started because two college kids had a problem: they needed to send out physical mail, but they weren’t design or marketing experts, they were developers. Was there a way to do this programmatically? The solution: APIs. Our founder has said he’s in the business of giving developers superpowers because APIs can help you solve business problems faster, to both accelerate your career, but also to save time. The faster you automate your job, the more time you can spend doing what you love (like playing NBA Jam, which was pretty important to him at the time ;).
That was over 10 years ago, and while we’ve grown a lot, and our product offering has expanded, we still consider ourselves an API-first company offering direct mail automation, designed for developers.
Direct mail continues to be an integral part of any outreach whether the goal is to inform, attract, retain, or win back customers (or heck, send out holiday cards).
👩💻 We provide easy-to-use APIs to automate sending letters, checks, and postcards—creating a personalized mail piece is as easy as creating an email or webpage
📫 We improve address integrity with autocomplete and address verification APIs
🖨 We have a nationwide network of on-demand printers
🔍 We track every single mail piece from creation to delivery
We provide APIs that integrate with your favorite programming languages, user-friendly templates, and other digital tools. If “Elixir” sounds like something only Alice would drink, we also have a simple UI to enable almost anyone – technical or not – to create postcards, letters, checks, and more (whether it’s 1 or 1 million). Our network of printers gets your mailpieces printed and in the mail, and we’ll provide visibility along the way. You’ll know exactly what’s working, and what isn’t. That’s why we say we say intelligent direct mail: it’s connected, personalized, and measurable.
Yup! But our automation transforms legacy manual processes; what used to take months, can now occur in a week.
It’s not unusual to receive a hundred emails in a single day; email is the new junk mail. But 72% of consumers read direct mail immediately or on the same day they bring it inside their residence (source), and direct mail has 13x higher response rate than email (source).
The tide is shifting and you don’t have to have a full-scale marketing department or direct mail SME on staff to ride the wave.
