Too Long; Didn't Read

The goal is to bring your website performance up as fast as possible. 90% of the time, the content we are loading on the rest of the website is images and videos. Lazy loading is probably the simplest and most effective thing you can do to improve your website load time. The first way we can add lazy loading to our website is by using a really tiny Javascript library called: lazysizes. You can lazy load images, iframes, videos, and even widgets which is great for responsive design.
