TLDR Since 2018, I have been working for a plant-based alternative startup [The Plant Eat] as a data scientist. Here are the points that I learned during my journey: Food can be modular but very dependent on mixture of compounds. A single ingredient may influence your product mix regardless of the ratio of your food product. Food preferences may be influenced by compounds likeness or distance between the two foods.
