When Scaling Doesn’t Work

TLDRvia the TL;DR App

There are products that are bought and there are products that are sold. People buy products that they know they need. Here demand outpaces supply.

Products that need to be sold doesn’t scale. We won’t scale revenue 10x by increasing the sales team by 10x.

The right product infront of the right customer, is product market fit. Here the product is being bought not sold. Scaling sellers here works.

Once the product is asked to scale outside of this group, product market fit may not exist. Pivoting is required here. Pivoting needs to occur at product level, not the seller level.
