TLDR Deno is a JavaScript/TypeScript runtime with secure defaults and a great developer experience. It’s led by Ryan Dahl, who started the Node.js project way back in 2009. The design stems from 10 things Dahl regrets about Node.JS. Deno modules can be hosted anywhere, they’re cached locally and cached locally. It has no access to file or network resources unless explicitly enabled. It dies on uncaught errors. It's a great benefit, but the developer experience aims to make it easier for developers.via the TL;DR App
