TLDRvia the TL;DR App

That’s suppose to be a waterfall behind us…

We hiked, we climbed, we conquered… the smallest waterfall in the world.

This weekend was a beautiful one filled with miniventures, dim sum, and surf. While I had hoped to get a little more accomplished in terms of learning (and working) on an Ember.js tutorial, instead we took to the great outdoors.

In the midst of our ventures we spent a lot of time driving which meant catching up on one of my favorite pastimes.. listening to podcasts!! It's especially great having my babe in the car he’s amazing at answering and expanding on questions I have while listening. (Having a full stack developer for a boyfriend is pretty much the coolest thing ever)

Podcasts are an amazing resource especially for us “code newbies” out there. It exposes you to ideas, tools, concepts and culture that maybe you might not have stumbled upon otherwise. Even not understanding a huge portion of it I love to keep exposing myself to these resources!

So here are my top ten podcasts to listen to:

  1. The Changelog
  2. Ember Land
  3. The Freelancer’s Show
  4. CodeNewbie
  5. Frontside the Podcast
  6. Javascript Jabber
  7. The Ruby Rogues
  8. Founders Talk
  9. The iPhreaks Show
  10. TED Radio Hour (not technical just awesome!)
