TLDR
Telegram has stopped development of TON blockchain, that it has been working on for the last 2.5 years. The move is explained by a US Court ruling, stating that TON is considered illegal, due to how easy it may be for US citizens to buy GRAMS, the token on which the TON token is designed to run. Both Bitcoin and Ethereum were so ahead of time, that there was practically no chance left for selected authorities to oversee and steer the projects in a more favourable direction, just like it happened to TON.via the TL;DR App
