My name is Avijeet Kumar Singh. I am the cofounder of Prakshep. We help agribusiness autonomously deploy policies at scale around the globe. We love to dig into customer problems and solve them with modern technology. We create, scale and optimize product portfolios that matter. To accomplish this, we focus on automation, key results, building amazing team and quickly adapt to new insights.

What's your startup called? And in a sentence or two, what does it do?

Prakshep is tech company founded in 2016. We are building a series of neural networks to automate tedious activities like farm geofencing, farm surveillance, risk mitigation, route planning, zoning, acre based billing and more. From large enterprises to startups, businesses of all sizes use Prakshep deep learning APIs to autonomously monitor farms, assess risk, plan operations, increase productivity, and save resources. We help agribusiness utilize neural networks to automate efforts at scale.

What is the origin story?

Prakshep started with the aim to automate the agriculture process and help global farmers build climate-smart agriculture. We help farmers incorporate new techniques in water management, crop and income diversification, market linkages development and improved land management. This helps create resilient agriculture and smarter food systems, which intern helps farmers prepare, respond and recover in difficult situations.

What do you love about your team, and why are you the ones to solve this problem?

Our expertise ranges from analytics, AI, neural networks, imaging, to enterprise architecture engagement and data management. Based on our experiences delivering data science work to our clients, we have created a robust business process pipeline on cloud / premises. We have been working with companies across India to minimize their operational cost, forecast the market opportunity & design impact analysis on the go for more than 1 million farms across the country. If you weren’t building your startup, what would you be doing?

Farming.

At the moment, how do you measure success? What are your core metrics?

Total farms, new farms, repeated farms, discontinued farms, API hits, no of customers and more KPIs.

What’s most exciting about your traction to date?

We have created the most advanced tech infrastructure and architecture which could provide data analysis at the cheapest price in the industry. Our automated workflow help us deliver output in different forms, which can be integrated with any existing application in the industry, be it on-cloud, on-ground, on-device or on-premise.

What technologies are you currently most excited about? And why?

AI can solve complex tasks and create a transparent network helping the farmers and others utilize technology.
