TLDRvia the TL;DR App

“I wonder if there are podcasts from Elon Musk on self driving cars?”

“I know I am interested in Virtual Reality, but where I can learn about it?”

“I remember the host referenced an interesting movie, what was it called?”

𝚂𝚘, 𝚆𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚒𝚜 𝙿𝚘𝚍s𝚘𝚞𝚛𝚌𝚎?

Some of us are right handed, some of us are left handed, but few of us are both. Some of us enjoy audio, some of us like visuals, but most all of us prefer both. Podsource is both. It is an Internet-Media platform that focuses on podcasts, mating the audible back with its old friend: the visual.

Like Yellow Journalism before it, FAKE NEWS and Flare Journalism find its real foe in our medium: Internet-Radio. Casting is simply the next stage in the evolution of sound. The New Public Access Talk Radio, and more**.** It’s Searchable. It’s Curated. And it’s Personalized.

In this POC, Podsource will be catered towards individuals that like to both see and hear**.** Last time I checked, that’s most of us. Unless you’re Beethoven. Or you have paws, then you might be a dog.

A Symphony of Voices

Right now, the Internet and the content industry is scattered and disordered. It isn’t simply going to organize itself, we all must do it. Like a TV or Music streaming service, our website hosts millions of voices, and it all starts. What’s more, Podsource can also be searched, like Google, for Topics, Artists, Quotes, Concepts, and mentions of any kind.

You know how pleasant a group of voices sounds compared to one alone, but we still won’t give up singing aloud to ourselves. The analogy continues as follows. If Creators and Artists can come together and agree upon putting their voices together in one place, then we will all have created a truer type of social network — a Vocal Network

𝚆𝚑𝚢 𝙿𝚘𝚍s𝚘𝚞𝚛𝚌𝚎?

First of all, it’s free. Free is good. We all like free. Of course, the company will need to make money, but it certainly will not be at the expense of users (apart from the occasional advertisement). If you have used Patreon before, you know some creatives have begun to receive contributions for their work, almost like Wikipedia. We will use a similar model. Artists can choose whether or not to charge for their content, accept donations, and/or include advertisements. The freedom is yours. After all,

Saving the best for last

To summarize, the Podsource platform is an organized hub for creatives and their content, namely podcasts. We also know that Podsource is making the publishing process simple and universal. Yet, that still leaves the most important question: What good is it for the Listeners?

**𝚃𝚑𝚛𝚎𝚎 𝚊𝚗𝚜𝚠𝚎𝚛𝚜:**1. Curation and Personalized Suggestions(by experts who’s ears are probably now filled with Podwax.)2. Favorites, Collections, Playlists, and Listening History.3. Search for Names, Topics, Mentions, and more

If you remember one thing from this essay, let it be this:

ℙ𝕠𝕕𝕊𝕠𝕦𝕣𝕔𝕖 is the evolution of Radio, and 𝕪𝕠𝕦’𝕣𝕖 in charge.
