Today we are interviewing Kenneth Nwobi, the creator of RecallNote. RecallNote is an EdTech solution designed to help students and self-learners fight the forgetting curve through personalized, AI-generated study concepts and spaced repetition.

What does RecallNote do? And why is now the time for it to exist?

RecallNote solves the problem of forgetting 70% of lecture material within 24 hours by turning notes into AI-summarized, personalized concepts using Google’s LearnLM, vibrant flashcards, offline storage, and spaced repetition notifications for 50% better retention. It focuses on students and self-learners who need to retain what they read. Now’s a good time for RecallNote to exist because students are increasingly overwhelmed by dense study materials and need scientifically-backed, AI-powered tools to optimize their memory retention right before exams.

What is your traction to date? How many people does RecallNote reach?

My project is pre-launch. We just tested our MVP with over 30+ students who uploaded their course material, with 200 notes summarized on trial.

Who does your RecallNote serve? What’s exciting about your users and customers?

Students and self-learners who have problems remembering or retaining.

What technologies were used in the making of RecallNote? And why did you choose ones most essential to your techstack?

To build RecallNote, the core technology we leveraged is Google’s LearnLM, which expertly handles the AI summarization to distill dense course materials into personalized concepts. We paired this specialized educational AI model with systems for offline storage, spaced repetition algorithms, and vibrant flashcard generation to create a seamless, scientifically-backed learning experience.

What is traction to date for RecallNote? Around the web, who’s been noticing?

While RecallNote is currently in its pre-launch phase, it has already validated its MVP with a highly engaged core group of 30 student beta testers who successfully summarized over 200 notes. Looking ahead, the team is gearing up for a major launch utilizing TikTok and strategic creator partnerships as key distribution channels to drive massive adoption within the student community.

RecallNote scored a 37 proof of usefulness score (https://proofofusefulness.com/report/recallnote)

What excites you about this RecallNote's potential usefulness?

I have literally experienced students paying their colleagues for their summarized notes because there are too many materials to go through, when exams are around the corner, students definitely need recallnote.
