Sony has been using stream-only events to make announcements regarding their new games and hardware. The last PlayStation Showcase was a 40-ish minute presentation announcing the PlayStation 5, with an unrelenting cadence of game announcements of huge significance. The Knights of the Old Republic Remake project will be much more ambitious than any of these remasters, and the team has been growing in size to compensate.
