TLDR Government-owned Nigerian websites are now becoming a common thing that we hear about every now and then, despite the huge maintenance costs being budgeted to manage the websites. The latest hacking of the website belonging to the second arm of the Nigerian government -National Assembly (nass.gov.ng) is the latest. The government’s failure to take this responsibility is what makes the Nigerian cyber-space so vulnerable to the extent that hacking a government owned websites is now common.
