On Thursday, Microsoft confirmed that a disruption affecting its Microsoft 365 productivity suite has been resolved, per Reuters.

The company traced the issue to a misconfiguration in part of its network infrastructure in North America. Earlier, users had reported difficulties accessing Teams and Exchange Online.

At the height of the incident, Downdetector — which aggregates user reports of service outages — logged as many as 17,000 reports. By 5:38 p.m. ET, that number had dropped to just 136 reports.
