So, you will see a lot of blockchain startups emerging every day and getting heavily funded. But what is interesting to see is that almost every giant is also moving into blockchain. IBM, Amazon, Facebook, Microsoft, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, you name them.
That clearly says that the blockchain is here to stay.
2. Scarcity of people in blockchain domain, hence a high pay
You can get a lot of attention in this sector even with a year of experience.
As this sector is fairly new, not a lot of people are in it right now.
And the demand is damn high.
Recruiters are hunting blockchain enthusiasts all over the internet. If you don’t believe me, just add blockchain related words in your bio and see the magic!
I personally started blockchain development a year before as a college kid (I am still in college), and today I receive plenty of jobs offers even if I don’t want them.
Instead I give jobs to people, in my own blockchain startup.
3. Almost anyone can jump into the blockchain boat.
No matter what you are now, marketer, environmentalist, writer, banker, lawyer, teacher, software developer etc. all have a seat in the blockchain boat.
You may think that blockchain is just for techies.
Nope. It’s for all.
And the best part is that you can get leverage in blockchain world using your existing domain’s knowledge.
Every blockchain project needs marketing, a writer for writing about their project, lawyers to analyze and deal with laws of their respective country/state. And as blockchain is being explored in every possible sector, recruiters need people who have knowledge in that domain.
So no matter who you are now, people are out there looking for you.
This is a revolution. You are lucky to be alive at this time. It’s a wave that comes once in many decades, it’s like the whole internet is being built again. Just the difference is that we are connected to each other in a better way today.
So, don’t miss this chance. As Steve Jobs said:
