Magalix's Kubernetes cluster utilization was very low, so we started a cost-saving practice to increase cluster utilization. We were able to cut our monthly bill by more than 50%. We used the top five techniques we used to better utilize our clusters on the cloud and eliminate wasted resources, thus saving money. These techniques include Applying Workload Right-Sizing, Choosing The Right Worker Nodes and Autoscaling Workloads. GCP and AWS offer various node types that you can choose from.
