All that power and one man holding it all together, there can be many perspectives on the Facebook scandal but, we must consider that Mark Zuckerberg has been a philanthropist throughout his career and has done great amounts of charity for education and humanity. We should also consider the risks involved while holding a company of such stature and shouldn’t forget this isn’t the worst of what would happen in case Mark wasn’t governing it personally.
We all know the amount of corruption prevailing in the world, the modern world has moved from bribery to death threats. Most criminals succeed in getting what they wish by one way or the other. We can all agree that politics is the origin of all corruption and bribery and, guess who is blaming Facebook for misuse of private data?

The manipulation of trash (classical) media have never been a complicated affair, but with social media embedding its roots much deeper than trash media, it gets much more complicated as all people gets to voice their own opinions. It seems the governments and their corrupt lawmakers have finally woken from their sleep, and they feel threatened by the most influential social media platform in the world, the Facebook. It may have been a result of a blunt fear arising out of facing their own tricks being played by their competitors, or simply agony and misery of having no control over Facebook. All they know is that if Mark remains as the CEO, they would never be able to control social media the way want.
Start differentiating real from ideal.
We need to understand that we are fighting against absolution, we need to share our basic data to social networks for them to work. It’s upon us to keep ourselves from believing everything we see and hear. To keep our data private was, however, mark’s responsibility. But we are being taken completely off the path when considering that Cambridge analytica is just a subsidiary of Facebook which can easily be corrupted on own their level without mark having an idea about it. Bad events and a few corrupt which aren’t under mark’s direct administration isn’t his fault, and as much ethics are concerned this guy is way more ethical than most of us.
The need to understand how the life-sucking politicians are trying to eliminate the CEO of Facebook is absolutely necessary. If there is one person who cares about our privacy in Facebook, it’s Mark. Mark has shown enough of how he has been donating and helping people, this is a man who already owns a top spot in richest people of the world, he doesn’t even need to have cruel intentions at all until it somehow benefits his company, Facebook. And as it seems, all this has nothing to with improving the Facebook’s experience and stock.
Facebook also owns Instagram and Whatsapp, but only data of the Facebook was stolen. We should realize that Cambridge analytica betrayed mark, and he didn’t betray us. Had Mark wanted to exploit us and our data, he could do a million things worse than just manipulating some pity elections. As he explained earlier, these speculations were supposed to be when you provide people with a platform to voice their opinion.
Suppose if Mark was as filthy corrupt as he is being portrayed, he could easily use our Whatsapp’s extremely personal messages, pictures, videos and everything else against us, but guess what?
All the messages exchanged through Whatsapp are encrypted and aren’t even stored on their servers.
There is always more than what meets the eye.
If we were swayed by paid (labelled) advertisements over a social network in our decision to vote, maybe its better to have our right to vote revoked, but we instead blame Facebook as it seems an easier choice than blaming ourselves.
We just need to look beyond the portrayal of the situation, the world has already seen many examples of how good and ethical people were assassinated or eliminated by the corrupt. History had mostly been manipulated by the politicians to portray them as our saviors and people like Mark as negligent. The trash media may be behind all this since Facebook is the future of digital advertising. Or it may be by politicians for the support of trash media as we know it’s them who own it after all. Facebook is the largest and most diverse thing on the planet right now, and Mark stands as the only one between total control of Facebook by these life-sucking and selfish politicians.
