Freebs is a solid choice on a server, but how does it hold up as a desktop machine? As a developer workstation? I found out. Can You Use FreeBSD for a Developer Machine in 2020? Can you use it as a workstation for a long time? I was surprised by how many things worked well in FreeBSD. I set up my development machine to match my Arch Linux machine as much as possible. After being away of these things, it surprised me with how much stuff was that I could install with a single line like vscode.via the TL;DR App
