Is UX (user experience) more important than UI (user interface)? Or are they both equally significant? Why and why not? Let's debate.
Hello Sadia Mehmood
I think they are both the same thing, whereas a minor contribution is fairly through how the application that is in use is being architected by the backend. Now to answer it simple, the UI is what makes the UX, therefore there is no differentiation in between them. Now in real world scenarios, majority of the time, it is the UI and not the functionality that makes an application stand out. To say it in more simple words, an application with a bad functionality but a great UI has more chances of success, than an application with a BAD UI and great functionality. Hope that answers the question.

UI is included in UX. UX is not exclusively included in UI. UX is more broad an includes every brand touch point including before and after coming in contact with a product. I agree that they aren't exclusive when it comes to branding but I also think that they aren't the same thing. They do have their differences. For me, no matter how subtle or crowded the interface is, the UX should be smooth.

if it makes money it is a good ui This is a tricky question. It's like comapring 🍎's to 🍊's.
What it all comes down to is that, you will have to work on UI first. But the crucial thing is to remember that UI is a part of bigger UX picture and every UI decision needs to be tracked back to UX.
So, I believe they are equally important.
