With Android 9 (API level 28), Google officially started supporting what’s famously known as the notch, a cutout display at the top. Since the status bar is not technically a part of your app, it is almost always taken care of by Android. But what happens when you want to hide the top status bar to make your view fullscreen? That is something you need to solve as a developer. And since I’ve already taken my time solving it last week, I thought of it as the perfect new tutorial for everyone of you.via the TL;DR App
