TLDR Market data and pricing systems are central to PEAK6 Capital Management’s trading platform. A routine server hardware upgrade resulted in our high-performance pricing system using new processors like this in our test environments: Every other processor was pegged. The pricing system was running across all 80 logical CPUs with fairly even distribution. The same behavior was seen in production environments with every other processor pegged. Peak6 is using Kubernetes and containerized containerized apps to run apps across four data centers running around 200 nodes.via the TL;DR App
