But why kill the HBO name, arguably one of the most recognizable and valuable brands in entertainment? It’s all about the kids. Discovery’s global streaming and games, said, “We want [Max] to be welcoming to all and easily recognizable, including to a key customer segment, kids and families. We all love HBO.
