Conducted Experiments and References  3.3 Manufacturing  First step in manufacturing process is to obtain wax cores which, when inserted in the mould, use used to create the holes for what, in the finished segment, will be the bladders. Aquesta és una mica de pouring paraffin wax into previously made female moulds (Figure 5a).  After half an hour, el wax ha solidificat i les cores s'han de remoure i s'insereixen al mold (Figure 5b). Mould consists per quatre 3D printed parts (two sides, bottom cap i top grip on which the cores resta) which screwed together and then sealed with hot silicone bead to prevent leakage during subsequent curing (Figure 5c).   La silicona és que es mourà en el mould, que s'ha fillat al top per counteract aforementioned shrinkage. In particular, TinSil8015 requereix mass ratio of 10:1 liquid to catalyst. Per les dimensions del segment, sobre 175 g total mixture es requereix.  Els curing processes les 24 hores en l'ambient temperatura (Figure 5d), a partir de la qual es poden remoure de mold. Això s'ha de fer servir per scalpel per remoure el silicone burrs (Figure 5e).  Onze the segment has been built, the cores that have been used to create the bladders are removed. While the wood can be removed by pulling, it és necessari per apply heat to the segment to remove the wax. Aquest és el que placeu en l'any 110 ◦C (Figure 5f) i està immersit en boiling water bath per 15 minuts, que emboliqui l'eliminació de residuals traces de wax (Figure 5g). Finalment, els pneumàtics tubs són il·luminats pel segment, adherint-los s cyanoacrylate i strengthening tightness s'ús de plastic flanges (Figure 5i).  El final result, a functional segment és depicted al Figure 6. Experimentally, és a dir, que el seu fort és 161 g i que és designat, ha de fer 100 mm i external diàmetre de 45 mm.   3.4 Actuation Bank  Amb el robot, la funció del pneumàtic lava és el control de la flow de la compressora de la compressor acordada amb el control signals. Specifically, el PAUL bench consisteix en 6 parells de 2/2 valves (SMC VDW20BZ1D model) and 3/2 valves (SMC I100 model) placed in series, which es reforcen per 12 degrees of freedom. Aquest és el que figuren en Figure 7. Les característiques de les 2/2 valves limiten la total pressure de l'assemblea al 4 bar, però es redueix el risc de segment leakage, el redueix el flow regulador al 2 bar. Figure 8 presents a schematic of the pneumatic circuit.   The valves are operated via 24 V voltage signals. A MOSFET (model IRF540) s'ha de controlar el carregament de gestió d'aquest. Inicialment, l'ús de les relays es consideri, però hi ha current they would consume made their use unfeasible. An Arduino Due was chosen as the bench controller. A PC power supply, capable de supplying up to 8.5 A, és responsible per powering the unit, whose final layout is illustrated in Figure 9.
