Lately, there has been a huge surge of highly potential “altcoins” — But how could you possibly accept all the “altcoins”?

Well you could just add a huge list of the public addresses at the bottom of your footer, something like this + 50 more addresses.

I personally find that not sufficient and design friendly.

How to solve the issue? What if we could have something like this instead?

Here’s where Vaulty comes to the rescue!

https://vaulty.io

Vaulty is like Patreon for altcoins. It’s useable by everyone, but is more focused towards content creators who accept cryptocurrency donations/payments — now we can accept altcoins too!

How does it work? The concept is very simple actually. Just pick the coins/tokens you accept, insert the public addresses and that’s it.

Demonstration

Vaulty demo

After you selected all the coins and inserted the public addresses, Vaulty generates a link you can share to the world.

Vaulty is a great way to give love to the altcoins. And I’m giving it all away, for free. I rely 100% on donations made. I have no plans to monetize Vaulty.

Let’s talk about the technicals

Q: Is it secure?

A: It’s as secure as you make it — please don’t insert private keys and you should be good to go. Vaulty only holds the public addresses and doesn’t have access to the coins. You basically insert public information and display it in a nicely formatted way. Very simple.

Q: I made a typo

A: Create a new Vaulty link. Currently the editing feature is disabled but I’m planning to add editing in the future.

Q: Help! My favourite coin/token isn’t supported!

A: Shoot me a message on Twitter and I’ll get it sorted. 😊

Q: What did technology did you use for frontend?

A: I used React + Redux. For styling I used styled-components. Add some Lodash sprinkles on top of it all.

Q: What about backend?

A: Glad you asked. I went with my personal favorite backend stack— Laravel API and MySQL. I was considering using PostgreSQL or MariaDB.

Q: Is Vaulty here to stay?

A: Yup, you betcha. Vaulty is protected against DDOS attacks/hacks by Cloudflare.

Now go and play with Vaulty!
