Too Long; Didn't Read

A backlog is essentially just a prioritized to-do list for your project. Agile Alliance defines the product backlog as a list of the new features, changes to existing features, bug fixes, infrastructure changes or other activities that a team may deliver in order to achieve a specific outcome. When your backlog isn’t properly maintained, you can focus on the wrong tasks, lose track of priorities, and feel like you’re being pulled in a million directions. Using a sprint backlog helps keep everyone focused on the immediate tasks at hand without feeling bogged down.
