Managers are in the best position to cause misery on their teams. The three so-called “anti-patterns” are: Task treadmill, Million-meeting agile and Gantt-aholic. These techniques lead to slow delivery, and can make your company less effective. The techniques all have merits and risks, but they all cause a reasonable amount of suffering. Sadist managers have copied these techniques, passing them from person to person.
