How to launch your own blockchain: Choosing The Right Consensus [Part II] continues the series of articles “How to Launch Your Own blockchain” and concentrates on choosing a secure and fast consensus algorithm for your project. Consensus types: proof-of-work (PoW), proof of-stake, proof of authority (PoA) and proof of consensus (PBF) are different types of consensus in terms of running and operating a network. Any BFT consensus must satisfy at least two important properties of distributed systems: safety and liveness. Without these properties, a blockchain has no value.
