Web3 is gradually gaining strength  but it’s no doubt that it needs mass adoption to go mainstream.  The decentralized future of the internet which cut across NFTs, DAOs, Metaverse etc. is an emerging technology that will undeniably transform the world of art, communities, gaming etc. In a few years’ time, it will create numerous opportunities for creators, brands, and investors while ensuring that the win goes around for those that embrace the technology. However, for it to attract massive users globally, there are certain factors that need to be considered. Here are 5 ways to increase web3 mass adoption in 2023: 1. Web3 Education People can’t adopt what they don’t understand, therefore, the significance of education can’t be neglected in the mainstream adoption of web3. There should be proper enlightenment concerning the future of web 3.0, and how to navigate around dApps so that the adoption won’t be restricted to some specific people operating in the blockchain ecosystem. Web3 should be simplified and the technical terms should remain with the experts so that the masses can see it as an easy-to-use technology rather than the common complex technological development they consider it to be. 2. Clear and Compelling Use Case The Use Case of web3 products should be clear enough for the masses to understand what a product is about, the problem it intends to solve and how it intends to solve it without stress. Also, the problem it intends to solve should be genuine because  most web3 companies solve the same problem but on different blockchains. There’s a need for innovative entrepreneurs who can identify market problems and create solutions by building products that are market-fit. If innovators can identify real-life and industry problems and convey their solutions in an understandable manner, it will increase the industry momentum and develop the interest of the masses. 3.  Proper Usability For web3 to go mainstream, it has to be user-friendly to navigate without watching numerous How-To videos or reading through different articles before people can grasp how they can walk through the websites. Web2 platforms like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook etc. are easy for first-time users to operate on their own compared to platforms like  Phantom or Metamask users. Since people love to pay for solutions and comfort, they’ll prefer to use what solves their problems easily than pay for what will frustrate them. This means that the user experience needs to be better for mainstream adoption to occur in web3. 4.  Flexible Blockchain Interaction Different web3 projects build on different blockchains and most times, the users encounter the problem of interoperability because they find it difficult to transfer assets across several blockchains. However, this doesn't  encourage them to own multiple assets. If projects can develop a flexible blockchain interaction that is fast, secure and reliable compared to the current chain bridges, it will assist users to operate on multiple blockchains and increase the accessibility of web3. 5. Real Utility This is a very vital solution that web3 companies should implement before the technology can stand a chance of mainstream adoption. The majority of web3 utilities no longer have any value in the market and founders are struggling to innovate.
