A micro-influencer is someone who has a follower base that is significantly smaller than celebrity influencers. This is the new breed of influencers that is more accessible, more affordable and has a more significant impact. The number of followers is usually from 1,000 to 10,000 followers, but in some slots, it can reach as much as 100,000. Since the brand doesn’t do the work of promoting itself, they get more conversions and sales as a result of other people’s promotions.
