Inevitably, though, all <a href="https://hackernoon.com/tagged/startups" target="_blank">startups</a> and small businesses go through tougher times. Times where acquisition slows down and you have a period of slower <a href="https://hackernoon.com/tagged/growth" target="_blank">growth</a>, or even worse, a contraction in revenue or customers.
