This page indirectly solved my problem. On my laptop (gaming Pavilion 15 dk-0xxx), the "p" key stopped working today. I tried with a Bluetooth keyboard I have for my iPad, and the "p" key doesn't work on that either. So, I thought, the problem is not hardware. I tried with the virtual keyboard of Windows, same issue. I was stunned, so I restarted the PC and the issue flew away. I actually don't know how, but it worked.
