In late February 2022, hackers broke into the OpenSea platform and stole more than $1.7 million worth of NFT, equaling 254 tokens. The theft happened in approximately three hours, according to social media posts about the hack indicated that at least 17 were Smol Brains tokens. This is just one of many incidents where hackers are stealing NFTs. Fortunately, there are actionable ways to protect yourself.
