Rob Pike, co-author of the Go programming language, talks about the evolution of Go over the last ten years. Pike: "After over a decade of work it looks like a design for parametric polymorphism, what is colloquially but misleadingly called generics, is coming in the next year or two" Pike: I am a big fan of static typing because of the stability and safety it brings.
