Too Long; Didn't Read

Rob Pike, co-author of the Go programming language, talks about the evolution of Go over the last ten years. Pike: "After over a decade of work it looks like a design for parametric polymorphism, what is colloquially but misleadingly called generics, is coming in the next year or two" Pike: I am a big fan of static typing because of the stability and safety it brings. The biggest surprise was when we learned that Go was being used to write malware. You can't control who will use your work.
