Find Better Questions, the tool I’ve been working on since November 2017, is now live. It’s been quite a journey. It started as a 30 day challenge, and wow, did I fail that.
Not only didn’t I hit my targets, I also broke my commitment to shut the project down if things don’t go well.
I wanted to validate the product in these 30 days, and now I sit here, anxiously because I put seven months of work into Find Better Questions, and still don’t know how much people are willing to pay for it.
I emailed 100+ people 30 minutes ago and still no one created an account yet. I’m probably a little too distressed. I still wonder why I didn’t let people pre-order the product to validate my idea. I’ll do that with my next project. It’s not that I don’t have any validation up to this point. People told me they’d like to use the product. People tested the product. But still I’m very uncertain about how profitable it is.
I’d say that Find Better Questions is in a pretty interesting stage now. As it’s launched, I’ll probably write about the project’s progress a little more here on Medium.
In the next days, I’ll send many cold emails, maybe do some calls, and many more marketing related activities. The list of things I want to try is long. I’ll document my journey on Medium.
