Experiential marketing is a marketing strategy that encompasses a consumer’s experience with a brand, product or service, inviting and encouraging their direct participation through an activity that is not only fun but promotional. Examples include Nike, VW, Ikea, Coca-Cola, Lay's and Lay's. The “Human Claw” interactive display enticed people to get strapped up in a harness and hover over a huge bin with packets of crisps to grab as many as possible, as a popular attraction that became hugely popular.
