I’m a professional when it comes to asking questions. I was very shy in school, afraid to ask questions to the teachers, thinking they would be stupid or something. A similar feeling happened when I was on the Discord server for the first time. So I was just watching what was going on. Some dudes were asking really hard questions to the dev team. In other words, they were literally squeezing their balls. Nonetheless, the comfort of the dev team replying to those questions mesmerized me. I instantly had the feeling that these guys are open and transparent to the bone. This gave me the courage to ask questions as well. Soon enough the dev team recognized me for my interesting questions!
By the end of November 2021, our first NFT collection consisting of 400 NFTs was launched. We call this collection the G400, and we call the NFTs Deltanauts (the initial name was Yoconauts then, but we rebranded). This very first collection sold out in 27 hours. That’s the story of my very first NFT purchase. And I gotta say, I’m always very skeptical on these matters and I do my own research since there are so many rug-pulls going on around this space.
Along the way, the team has been through so many major bumps in the road that they did not just survive but keep growing despite everything that has happened. That includes; stolen funds around 160k in dollars (62 ETH) from a DEX liquidity pool, wrong timing and faulty smart contracts due to some collaborations. The team survived because there is an awesome and supportive community behind them, despite everything. The liquidity pool has refilled by 60% in no time. It’s not easy to build such a community. We are like a family now. They are for us and we are for them.
The community consists of sincere people with good intentions because we only allow real people. Even though we are growing slow, not accepting bots or all kinds of scammers, is the key to solid growth. I define our growth as building the community, knot by knot, with love.
We help each other no matter the situation or where we are around the globe. We like questions. Since blockchain tech is relatively new, many people may be stuck somewhere and not be able to understand the way it works. We are always there to help any community member. We like to teach each other, not just about blockchain, but about anything.
We have a channel about blockchain education and our devs sometimes ask questions as if they are the teacher and we are the students. I see it as a huge opportunity to stay up to date and to study what’s new.
We like charity too! DeltaFlare’s Pink Ladies collection donated 50% of revenue in ETH to Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance. That was 35k dollars! Plus the whole revenue from the secondary market until June has been donated as well. The collection consists of 818 NFTs and sold out in 18 minutes! What a coincidence huh?! After that, 1 and 8 became our lucky numbers and therefore we are launching our next collection called Alpha Collection on 8.18 at 18:18.
What else…? One of our community members’ father-in-law who lives in Venezuela needed medical care that the government doesn’t cover, so he started a donation petition. Our designer designed an NFT just like his father-in-law and one of our community members bought it. All the revenue from this NFT went directly to the family.
We also support artists with little audience. We have a small -but growing- a collection of astronaut illustrations from different artists around the world. If you are a visual artist and want to highlight your art to a greater audience, you can always come to join us and talk to the devs to get your spot in the Collaboration collection.
Ok, so DeltaFlare is a project that started as an NFT project that expanded into a fully immersive ecosystem. Along with the NFT collections we keep creating (sometimes for the collaborations), we also have a token called $HONR. You can buy the token through Uniswap and stake it by searching for $HONR with around 50% APR.
But the real fuss lies in the developing Play And Earn game called Valor Rising: Quest for the 7. This 7 has a funny story. When our first collection, G400 launched, the smart contract didn’t stop minting. So the devs had to stop it manually. But these 7 nauts have illegally come to life. This thing has been joked about in the community many times and formed the base of our upcoming game. To develop the storyline, devs made a writing contest and chose 4 winners. Now with the help of these community members, we are creating the P&E gameplay and the narrative.
What makes Valor Rising: Quest for the 7 unique, are the gaming principles we've defined. Our game mechanics are hinged on a 2.5D cooperative, hack-and-slash campaign, in which players will accomplish certain objectives to save their captured comrades and rebuild their rocket ship to get off Planet M4t1c. The space the adventure takes place on is a unique environment because our Deltanaut is a 3D model, on a 2D plane. In addition to that, DeltaFlare is involving other NFT projects by asking them to create in-game assets for our players to experience. Doing this will allow our game players to become exposed to a very large variety of other blockchain projects. The goals of the game consist of having fun with current and new friends. We're building a game that encourages players to get the optimal experience through cooperative gameplay.
The rules are where things get very complex. Our game rules are built with human behavior in mind. We're using a certain type of modeling to determine party bonuses and drop rates, which are dynamic based on which players are in a given party. Finally, the components that tie everything together are intended to reach audiences on and off the blockchain. We know we need people where they are, whether it's in crypto, NFTs, gaming, or at home. We're finding and creating new ways to reach our target audience by including elements they're regularly interacting with.
PRDE is the in-game token that will be earned through gameplay. It can be swapped into $HONR or can be used to purchase in-game assets. The 10% tax we have defined to sell $HONR is another way to further fund the project. It’s a win-win situation if you ask me. $HONR is capped at 100.000.000. It’s a pretty low cap token and clearly designed to be something valuable.
The G400 collection, on the other hand, is the base to everything and holds the most benefits. Below you can see all the benefits of owning a G400. And yes! One WL spot and one NFT from Alpha Collection as well as all future collections, will be airdropped to you! The dev team wants to reward the early investors, who believe in the project, before everyone else. And I can say it’s still not too late but that window is not going to be open for too long.
There’s actually a lot to talk about this magnificent project. What inspires me as an individual, is the determination, love and excitement of the dev team for the project, no matter what happens. Because they are for us and we are for them.
