CryptoSpaceX is an ambitious project where we aim to create a whole new Virtual Universe on the . It will feature a massive Open Universe with space combats, futuristic space , digital ownership of game assets; all of this wrapped around a great story of its own. Blockchain technology CryptoSpaceX is a game centered around space exploration. Episode I is set around the mystical galaxy called ‘Fabula’ and it’s rare element, ‘Stardust’. Every planet owner is essentially a part of the rebellion. The rebellion is at a stage where it hasn’t even started. Fight it out with other leaders to make a spot for yourself in this fantasy, strategic and amazing game that would surely take you on the ride of your life. The entire game Universe is planned to be launched in steps or in Episodes with our first launch scheduled in June. We ultimately want to be able to create a Universe where all players have their own identities and ownable assets which can be monetised. PROJECT GOALS :- EPISODE 1 Create a browser enabled Space Strategy game that is powered by the Ethereum blockchain. Provide a rich game experience using 3D rendered game designs and a web application built using WebGL and React. Showcase the possibilities in CryptoSpaceX Universe through actual ownership of game assets, its own virtual currency(Stardust) and stable game economics. Build a strong community of gamers and blockchain enthusiasts to create demand and active trading in the marketplace. VEGASTAR Create a 3D virtual space city called Vegastar where users are able to monetise or trade their assets and plots. Launch the first 3 mini-game spots at Vegastar- Starland Wheel Casino, Starcraft Racing Arena and Cardniville; to showcase the possibilities of the virtual Space City. Create a large set of contracts and game types which can be used to develop and launch your own game at a Vegastar plot. Publish general guidelines to enable users to build and monetise their plots on Vegastar. END GOALS Create a massive Open World Universe with intense game-play and controls using UNITY for the Episode II in the game series. Solve computation and scalability issues of blockchain gameplay using external support SDKs and integrating top layers like the LOOM Network. Build a 3D Virtual Universe on the blockchain where users have their own virtual identity and can explore and interact within the space. Extend the concept of Vegastar to all planets, enabling users to build, sell or monetise their planets and plots. GAME DETAILS :- WHAT IS THE GAME LIKE? CryptoSpaceX is a fusion of Open World Space and Blockchain based Collectable Games. Collect planets and starships, attack planets and scavenge for Stardust. Engage in several unique arenas in the CryptoSpaceX universelike the Vegastar and build and monetise your own mini-games inside the Universe. WHAT MAKES THIS GAME DIFFERENT FROM COMPETING GAMES? CryptoSpaceX is a unique concept centred around the goal of building a Virtual Universe. The Universe would be able to provide a platform for others to build games within it as well. Blockchain enables us to guarantee ownership of assets to our users in the virtual world, removing control of any centralised authority. WHAT IS THE STORY SETTING? The entire story revolves around the Rebellion against the Evil Lords in the virtual CryptoSpaceX Universe. You begin as a Rebellion leader in the mystical Fabula galaxy where your goal is to build a huge fleet of ships for the upcoming battle against the Evil to restore peace in the Universe. Which side will win? Nobody knows the answer. WHOSE ROLE DOES THE PLAYER TAKE IN THE GAME? You are a Rebellion leader sent to the Fabula galaxy with a map to a unique planet. As a member of the Rebellion you have taken an oath to protect the Universe from the Evil. Rebellion leaders have several special abilities andhave mastered the art of space combat. They are trained to build destructive and powerful starships. WHAT IS THE MAIN OBJECTIVE? As a Rebellion leader, you have been sent with one sole purpose — to build a large fleet of starships for the battle that must be. There are others around you but you must not trust anybody — for many have already been consumed by the Evil Forces. There must be no stones left unturned because the fate of the Universe and lives of several innocent beings lies in the hands of a few leaders such as you. SINGLE — PLAYER OR MULTI — PLAYER? The gameplay in Episode I features PvP strategic battles where the attacker commands his ships to attack and steal stardust from neighbouring planets. There will also be plenty of opportunities for player interactions and multiplayer gameplay in tournaments, and Vegastar mini-games. WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT GAMEPLAY MODES? The game features a Story mode where your progress goes in line with your set objectives and goals as a Rebellion Leader. There is also a Casual mode where you can explore the Universe and the Vegastar, engage in several mini- games or even choose to build one for yourself. WHAT ARE THE PLANS FOR GAME UPGRADES AND FUTURE EPISODES? Episode I is just a small step towards our goal of building a Virtual Universe. Here we plan to present to the world the endless possibilities that the CryptoSpaceX Universe will have. There are several Episodes planned for the game and we will also keep upgrading the game in between different Episodes. HOW MANY HOURS OF GAMEPLAY DO YOU ANTICIPATE? Your sole purpose in the game, as a Rebellion leader, is to create a large and strong fleet of ships. The number of hours of gameplay is directly related to your dedication to the Rebellion, unless, of course, you get a rare Death Ray, that can really make things simpler. HOW DO YOU PLAN ON INCORPORATING THE COMMUNITY’S IDEAS? To build a Blockchain Game that is decentralised in it’s true essence, it is important to include community inputs in our game as well. For this, we plan to have game mechanics and bug bounty contests, several community built games on Vegastar plots, and voting among all token holders before making any big changes. Game Story :- Jean’s Adventures It is a period of grave danger. The Evil forces, striking from a hidden base, have attacked the rebel army base and destroyed all their battleships. During the battle, most rebel forces managed to flee. However left with no weapons to fight with, there seems to be no hope of victory for the Rebellion leaders. Dedicated to defeat the Evil forces, a young Rebellion leader, Jean sets aboard his Star Cruiser to finally solve the mystery of the lost galaxy of Fabula.Several legends have been written about the mystical Fabula. Some say it can only be visited in the dreams, while some claim that it is so dark that nobody can ever see or find it. Guided by his master’s words, one day Jean discovered a strange source of light and he followed it. The light got brighter and brighter and suddenly he saw a strange new planet. Jean spent several years on the planet and documented everything he could about the strange planet and the mystical galaxy. The Note and The Map Here is what Jean wrote- “I have found a new galaxy but this is not like any other galaxy we’ve ever seen. Perhaps its Fabula that I have found! It seems to be a very small galaxy with only 1000 stars. The planets in Fabula do not rotate around the sun!!! In fact this galaxy does not seem to obey any law of nature as we know it. The stars here emit stardust which is the only natural resource in the entire galaxy. This Stardust can be used for building new starships for the Rebellion fleet. If anybody finds this note, on the back side I have drawn a map. There are only 4000 such maps and each map will guide you to one of the planets in Fabula.” The Universe The game begins with the enchanting galaxy of Fabula, necessary in the story to gather weapons and resources that are going to be vital in the battle against the Evil Lords. Luckily, Fabula has not yet been discovered by them and they cannot directly hurt anyone in the galaxy. That does not mean you can be complacent that they won’t be able to find you and when they do, you must fight. Fabula is only a small part of the entire Universe. As more game episodes are released in the future, you will find yourself exploring uncharted territories trying to solve the mysteries that would turn the tide in the Rebellion’s favour. GAME ASSETS :- **_PLANETS_**Planets are core to this episode — this is where your defence base and battlestation is located. Each planet has its own set of unique defence mechanisms (like the Shield and the Protector) — they come into action when your planet is under attack by other players. Planets are ERC721 tokens which can be traded on an open marketplace. Following the launch, new planets will not be sold but can only be found. **_STARS_**Stars are placed at random locations in the galaxy and there are only 1000. Only the stars release new stardust in the game ecosystem which is collected by planets on their surface.Stars are never sold or created but can only be found at game launch by a few lucky users. Owning a star can be extremely rewarding as nearby planets must pay star owners to receive Stardust from them. Stars are presale exclusive assets. All 1000 Stars will be distributed randomly among all SpaceX token holders, each token giving you a 25% chance of getting a Star. Star owners get to decide the price they want to set for the Stardust. 50% of the ETH collected from Stardust sale goes to the Star owner, 30% to all SpaceX token holders and 20% to devs. **_DEFENCE ELEMENTS_**These are the defences that are present in your planet. They help protect your base from the attacker’s starships. Every planet has a unique set of defences which are upgradable. As the planet level goes up, more defences keep getting unlocked. Defences are of several types: → Shields → Trombos → Hoarders → Protectors → Lombers → Clanters **_EXPLORER ROCKETS_**Only 4000 planet maps were drawn by the young Resistance leader, Jean. There are several other planets in Fabula and they can be found using the in-game explorer rockets. Each explorer rocket gives a player a small chance of finding an undiscovered planet and can only be used once. **_STARDUST_**This is the in-game currency in our game Universe. It will be used for almost everything you do. From upgrading your planet, spaceships, battle stations to being used as fuel for attacking, Stardust funds it all. Where can you get it from? Stars, obviously. No, you cannot buy it from the marketplace. Vegastar? Well, you’ll read about it soon enough. STARSHIPS Spaceships are the main attacking units. They have various types, Bombers, Raiders, Troop Carriers, Healers, Destroyers and Cruisers. Using various types of spaceships in attack will be one of the main strategic points of the game. They will have their respective strengths and weaknesses. → Battle-Cruiser → Bomber → Troop Carrier → Destroyer → Healer → Raider → Kamikaze **_STARSHIP TURRETS_**Starships feature a range of attacking turrets all of which have different abilities and powers. These turrets determine the overall strength of your starship. Some turrets like the Radar Deflectors give stealth ability to Raider class ships. As starships are upgraded, more turrets get attached to the ships increasing their attack and defence abilities. → Plasma Cannon → Laser Shock → Stealth Shield → Ion Cannon → Torpedo Launchers → Rail Gun GAMEPLAY-EPISODE I :- Planet vs Planet Combat You devise a formation made up of wave(s) of ship(s). This formation is important as it will decide the effectiveness of your attack. Certain types of ships combine well and with the right formation you might be able to penetrate the defences of the enemy planet. On the other hand senseless combinations can decimate your attack against the right defence, unless of course you own a death ray. Tournaments Take part in several in-game tournaments to win special prizes and game assets. There are several tournaments like knockout tournaments, starcraft racing, among others. Build alliances with other players, rent your starships, and race your way to the top of our weekly leader-boards. Tournaments feature special prizes which can be anything from a rare starship to a loot box containing a large amount of Stardust. Some tournaments will also feature a participation fee in ETH, which would be distributed among the winners. Vegastar Space City This is the official relaxation zone (or more like Ricklaxation zone) of the Fabula galaxy. Waiting for your battle results to get mined? Used up all your stardust? Feeling lucky? Head over to Vegastar to indulge in a wide range of mini-games and entertainment zones. Vegastar will feature several plots, each of which can be owned by a user. Every plot can hold upto one building which have a unique mini-game associated with them. Users may choose to build a mini-game of their own on these spaces or use one that we made. Vegastar has different towns like the Gambling town, Blockchain Gamers town and Space Exploration town all of which have their own unique features and game types. These token act as both a lifetime membership and investment in our project. 23 MAY, 2018- Token Assets Unlocked. SpaceX token holders would be able to view the Episode I assets. It is also the unique Starship Auction start date. The Universe features several types of Starships and only one of each type will be auctioned before main game launch. 15 JUNE, 2018- Beta Launch of Main Game on Testnet. The game economics and mechanics are rigorously tested. Marketplace is opened for trading of planets, stars and starships. 25 JUNE, 2018- Vegastar Plot Auctions begin. Vegastar plots are sold in an open auction where users can choose and bid on the plots of their choice.Winners get the ownership to the plots and will be able to assign a building and game of their choice to their plots. 1 JULY, 2018- Main Game Launches on the Ethereum Network in a robust game application built using WebGL and React framework. All game features are released. Start of the first tournament for all players. Stardust can be purchased by planet owners from Star owners. 15 JULY, 2018- Launch of the first 3 mini-games on Vegastar. Starland Wheel Casino- Casino built at the centre of the Vegastar gambling town.Starcraft Racing Arena- Race track built inside Vegastar. Build, customise and race your Starcrafts.
