This 'thready' likely doesn't need much explanation, however, here's a brief  one: Ellen announced to all that she would be away for a couple of days and ended up 'working' anyway. Completely on her own accord. She decided to have some drinks and take selfies in the awesome hat she got for X-mas from the wonderful boss humans. The selfies were posted on FB.
