Service Mesh is an open-source service networking system. It uses the term “Data Plane”, “control plane” and “API” when it comes to service mesh. This article explains the concept of Service Mesh in plain English. It also explains how Service Mesh works with an API (Application Programming Interface) Service Mesh uses the terms "Data Plane, Control Plane" and "API" to talk to the network. The API will be used to communicate with Service Mesh’s network traffic.
