Our mission is to make sure that donor milk is equitably available for every baby who needs it. As part of the Human Milk Foundation, our milk bank provides donor milk to sick and premature babies on neonatal units across the south and east of the UK, and to families at home where breastfeeding is impossible or taking time to establish. We are also a centre of research, supported by UKRI to investigate the science of human milk, personalise milk as a therapy, and help future milk banks meet the needs of vulnerable babies.
