What's your startup called? And in a sentence or two, what does it do? Sendify – shipping for everybody else. What is the origin story? Sendify is a fast-growing SaaS Enabled Marketplace that offers small businesses a simple and cost-effective shipping solution - so that less time and money is spent on logistics and more on running a company. Shipping Management platforms have previously been developed for larger companies, which has left the small and medium-sized enterprises without competitive shipping solutions that are targeting the small businesses’ logistics needs and their price sensitivity. In other words, there has been a huge segment that has been overlooked - until now. What do you love about your team, and why are you the ones to solve this problem? People on the team are handpicked for who they are; they are genuinely nice individuals with a big passion for building something challenging together. Having a stable foundation and tireless grit for challenging the industry are the key ingredients. If you weren’t building your startup, what would you be doing? Building another startup. At the moment, how do you measure success? What are your core metrics? Success means providing small businesses with the smartest shipping solution out there. Hence, seeing our base of happy customers grow, from all over the world, is our main metric. What’s most exciting about your traction to date? I would probably steer this insight to customer insights; we see the exact same need of our customers in the markets we are present in. This is the opportunity that we are going after. We are excited about the SaaS Enabled Marketplace that we have created and how we can help businesses with our unique technology. The aggregated buying power of the many small businesses that book their shipping through Sendify, enables Sendify to generate marketing leading margins. Meet the Winners of Startups in Europe

Gaming on Chain: Behind the Rise of Blockchain Gaming Blockchain gaming has become a popular application of decentralized ledger technology (DLT). In terms of activity, the space has arguably become a fast-growing area within the Web3 space. A recent , suggests over 1,000 projects were blockchain gaming native in 2022, with many Web2 gaming studios making the pivot to develop blockchain-based games. These projects are also very well-funded, with the same report suggesting that over $10.5bn has been invested in the area since the beginning of 2022. report And this does not account for interest from established Web2 native companies. Meta - the parent company of Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp – made headlines towards the end of 2021 with the announcement of new a ‘Metaverse’ strategy. There is a general consensus that this strategy has so far failed, with Meta not being able to attract the users it sought. However, Meta is but one company. Given the statistics above, its fortunes do not seem to be mirrored by the wider space. This article will explore the trends and developments in the blockchain gaming space. It will also examine some of its key attributes, namely NFTs, P2E/GameFi and the Metaverse. But first, what is blockchain gaming, and where did it originate? The History of Gaming on Chain ‘Blockchain gaming’ is a loose term that encompasses several fields at the intersection of DLTs and gaming. Colloquially, most people in the Web3 space associate blockchain gaming with either developing a game whose data is stored on a decentralized network or a game in which the assets are stored ‘on-chain’ as non-fungible tokens (NFTs). These ideas go back to at least 2017, possibly earlier, and although the origins are contested, the most infamous blockchain game was Crytpokitties. Cryptokitties was a feline-themed, Ethereum (ETH) based collection of NFTs with changeable attributes such as color, size and accessories. The plan was that users who purchased a ‘Cryptokitty’ could enter a virtual world with their purchase in which they could interact with other Cryptokitties. This simple concept went viral towards the end of 2017, with Cryptokitties attracting prices of up to 650 ETH (~$2,000,000 at the time) and becoming the number one project within the ETH ecosystem by transaction volume. However, the Cryptokitties did not anticipate the congestion this would cause in the ETH network. Shortly after the 650 ETH peak, the ETH network was paused; all transaction processing stopped. For a single project to cause the second largest decentralized network to be paused was no insignificant event and understandably caused concern amongst the ETH developer community and the blockchain gaming space. Notwithstanding the fact that the problem was one of popularity and virality, the lesson was clear: blockchain gaming projects, and the decentralized networks that host them, needed to think about scalability. Needless to say, the ETH developers were quick to propose upgrades that could scale ETH to handle viral blockchain gaming projects in the future. Moreover, subsequent projects took note and immediately explored layer 2 solutions, as well as other, more efficient layer 1 networks such as Polygon and Solana. This has undoubtedly resulted in more innovative approaches to scalability, both within the blockchain gaming space and when it comes to decentralized networks more generally. Consequently, the conversation quickly moved onto the acquisition and retention of the traditional gaming community. From Play-to-Earn to ‘Play-and-Earn’ ‘Play-to-Earn’ (P2E) is the idea of earning ‘real currency’ for in-game activity. In traditional games, the in-game economy is often underpinned by a currency that allows gamers to purchase the assets they need to complete the game. However, the value of this currency is limited to its utility within the specific game itself. P2E includes a mechanism to exchange an in-game currency for one with real-world value, often a cryptocurrency. The idea is to incentivize gamers to play by introducing earning potential. Whilst this is attractive for blockchain gaming developers (as a user acquisition strategy) and gamers (as a potential income stream), the success of traditional games – Grand Theft Auto, Skyrim to name but two – without this model, suggests that gameplay and story might be more important. Seedify, a blockchain gaming incubator (more on them later), is attempting to move beyond the P2E and even the P&E models. This idea centers around the importance of the gameplay and story, with earning being a secondary incentive. Historically limited to gaming, it now also applies to so-called ‘virtual worlds’ in which there is no set gameplay or objective. The largest and most famous metaverse is Second Life, a virtual world in which users can create, interact and even do business. In fact, launched in 2003 by Linden Labs, Second Life was the first virtual world to establish an in-game economy underpinned by a currency called Linden Dollars. These are exchangeable for all major fiat currencies and created a vibrant business environment that created many successful entrepreneurs. Second Life also attracted many Fortune 500 brands who saw its user base of over 65,000,000 (~the population of the United Kingdom) as a fantastic captive audience to which they could target their promotion. This led to a wave of said brands setting up virtual HQs, hosting events and creating branded content for Second Life users. However, despite its history, experience and size, the metaverse behemoth has chosen not to experiment with decentralization. Some suggest this is due to the threat to the monopoly of control Linden Labs has over the virtual world. Others put it down to institutional inertia; there is neither the will nor expertise yet to port a decades-old metaverse to a decentralized network in a sustainable way. The likelihood is that both are true, and it is the responsibility of the Web3 space to provide a practical and convincing method of entry. This is what Seedify is attempting to do. Seedify is a community focussed launchpad and incubator, focused on the blockchain gaming space (as above). According to a recent report, the blockchain gaming space grew by over 2,000% in Q1 2022. In Q1 and Q2, projects in the space raised $10.5 billion, the report goes on to say, attracting 1.22 million unique, active wallets. We are investing in Web3 gaming because we know its future potential, but it also needs a lot of maturing and development to reach its full potential. Play-to-earn (P2E) may not necessarily be a new concept but it’s still relatively young. Although the bear market slowed things down considerably, I’m sure that there will be a lot of exciting developments in this space in the next few years. While the current market may be a bit slow and rather boring, it creates perfect conditions for familiarising yourself with various P2E platforms. There’s a well-known investing motto – bull markets can make you money but bear markets can make you rich. Most people just simply translate it to ‘buy low, sell high’ but there’s much more to it. In my opinion, the true value of bear markets is the time they give you. You can research projects. You can learn and try out various platforms. Gas fees are low. There is far less FOMO. In short – you have the time and conditions to prepare yourself for the next bull run. And with a bit of luck, you can also make some money in the process. This article will be a beginner’s guide to P2E and I will use platform as an example but of course, there are many other P2E options. If you are looking for various games, you can check out what was launched on launchpads like , , or . Or you can look up a platform, which has multiple games, such as or KomNPlay. As I mentioned above, I will be using the latter as an example here, but as always – you should do your own research and check out various platforms. To be more specific - in a bull market, projects are popping up left, right, and center but a lot of them don’t offer any real value. In a bear market, only solid projects have a chance of survival, so it’s a great opportunity to see who sticks around and continues building and who disappears the moment there are no prospects of making quick money. It’s a perfect time to research projects, learn, and prepare for the next bull run. And since web3 is developing so quickly, it will be really interesting to see what will be the next big trend - we had ICOs in 2017, DeFi summer in 2020, NFTs in 2021, so I’m really excited to see what will come next. Personally, I’m hoping it will be the narrative of AR/VR/gaming/metaverse. 5. What are your concerns about Web3 and why do they worry you? Web3 is still very young. This means a lot of opportunities but also a lot of risks and unknowns. And I suppose that those unknowns are my biggest concern. My two biggest worries are: AR and privacy - for AR technology to work, it has to keep scanning our field of vision. How this data will be stored and kept private? If we imagine a world where we all wear AR glasses almost all the time, this would mean that companies making those glasses would have almost constant access to our field of vision - where we are, what we do, who we meet, and even going as far as what passwords we type in, etc. We know how much of our data is already being harvested but this takes it to a completely new level. Regulation of crypto, NFTs, and anything blockchain/web3 related - we won’t have mass adoption without some form of regulation, this is a given. It will be interesting to see what exactly this regulation will look like and how far it will extend. I’m sure that people and organizations in power will try to over-regulate it and have as much control as possible. I’m hoping that we will see some sort of a balanced approach but I’m certainly worried about how exactly it will look like. 6. If we gave you $10 million to invest in a web 3 project today, what would you invest in and why? My own project or an existing one? If an existing one, I think my biggest bet would be Otherside and Bored Ape Yacht Club. I think this brand and the whole ecosystem have a ton of potential. But I don’t like being deterministic when it comes to investing, and going ‘all-in’ on a single project doesn’t resonate with me. I think I would rather split it into a few projects but all focusing on metaverse, gaming, and AR/VR. My choices would be Otherside + ApeCoin, Verasity, Vulcan Forged, Seedify Fund, and perhaps NetVRk. If it was seed money to start my own project, it would be a real-life and metaverse education hub for everything web3 and investing-related. My mission is to help 1 million people change their financial situation through education about crypto and web3 (so they can either invest or build in this space) and I think $10 million would go a long way towards meeting this objective. 7. What are you currently learning? I tried to learn Solidity but eventually, I had to accept that programming is just not my thing ;-) Since I’m interested in investing and trading, I’ve been spending a lot of time recently reading about trading but not so much the technical or practical side of it but rather the psychological side. It’s really fascinating. I’ve been going through a lot of books but the two I found the most valuable so far is ‘Trading in the zone and ‘Market Wizards’. 8. What’s the best advice you’ve ever given someone? There are no wins and losses, just wins and learning opportunities. Our society taught us that if you are not a winner, you’re a loser. Not passing an exam is a failure etc. There is not enough focus on the positive aspects of ‘losing’ - it’s a perfect opportunity to learn and improve but you need the right mindset and discipline to do it. 9. What’s the best advice you’ve ever received? Losses in investing or trading are your ‘tuition fees. To be a doctor or a lawyer you have to spend years at a university and pay tens if not hundreds of thousands in fees. You can start trading crypto, NFTs, or stocks with no education and the only cost is the money you invest in it - essentially, you’re not paying to learn about it. The vast majority of people in this space will lose some money but if you see it as a learning opportunity (see the question above) then your losses simply become your tuition fees. Although 2022 is having a bit of a rough start, to say the least, it is still widely expected that we will have a major bull run this year and it will be all about crypto gaming, NFT, and metaverse-related projects. When it comes to crypto (and investing in general), the difference between making good or life-changing money (10x vs 100x gains) is usually all about getting in early – before the bull market is in a full swing and finding projects before everyone starts talking about them. Sure, investing early is very risky and can be quite scary, but at the same time – this is exactly how the biggest profits are made. And what’s the best way to be early? Simple – participate in Initial Game Offerings Initial Game Offerings, or IGOs (also referred to as ICOs or IDOs), are an opportunity to purchase the tokens before they are listed on cryptocurrency exchanges. I wrote an article about IGOs last year (you can check it out ) and when the market was active, I was making between 10x and 600x gains on each IGO. And it was always in a matter of days or weeks (let alone holding longer-term). here Of course, the current market is much more uncertain but the principle remains the same – there’re still some opportunities there to make some solid, quick gains and more importantly – start building your positions ahead of the next bull market. As a side note – investing during bearish and uncertain times like now is very risky and not all projects will perform well – essentially you’re investing in a startup in a very uncertain market, so please act accordingly with your risk tolerance and your own personal situation and don’t treat this article as financial advice. Ok, so how can you participate in IGOs? You can find new IGOs on launchpads – platforms specialised in raising funds for new projects. Some of them have a broad range of projects, while others specialise in a particular type, such as gaming or DeFi. The list of launchpads is constantly evolving but here are some of the most popular ones: Kommunitas Seedify Enjinstarter GameFi BSCPad Dao Maker What makes a good launchpad? In my opinion, there are two key elements - a relatively low entry threshold for guaranteed allocation and a large number of IGOs. The first one makes it easier to participate in IGOs (although in most cases the investment is still quite substantial - more on this later) and the latter ensures that you will actually have plenty of opportunities to invest in new projects - no point joining a launchpad, which has only 1 or 2 projects per month. Allocations If IGOs are such a great way of making consistent profits, why everyone who participates in them in not a millionaire yet? You can’t simply put 10,000 USD in an IGO and make 10x straight away because everyone would want to do it. To manage the volume of potential investors, launchpads require them to hold a certain amount of their tokens (KOM, SFUND, etc.) to give them either a chance to participate in an IGO (lottery) or a guarantee (guaranteed allocation). The more tokens you hold, the larger allocation you can get. Usually, there are specific tiers – please see Seedify Fund as an example below. As you can see, you need a minimum of 250 SFUND tokens (around 1,300 USD at the time of writing) to take part in a lottery. If you want guaranteed allocation, you need a minimum of 1,000 SFUND tokens (around 5,160 USD) and from my experience, this will only give you around 20 USD allocation. Sure, this can still give you a very healthy profit, especially if the project does 600x like it was the case with Blocktopia, but it won’t make you a millionaire anytime soon. You can see an example of allocations per tier in the image below. But there's an interesting alternative now available Here’s a comparison of a few popular launchpads and their respective minimum tiers. Kommunitas is a relatively new but very active launchpad - 5 IGOs in February and 9 scheduled for March. While most launchpads follow a similar model - tiers based on the amount of tokens you hold, Kommunitas does something completely different. It's a tier-less launchpad with a proportional allocation Yep, there are no tiers. Even better - you're eligible for a guaranteed allocation as long as you hold at least 100 KOM tokens (0.51 USD at the time of writing). This way literally anyone can participate in an IGO - the biggest issue with most launchpads is a relatively high entry cost - sure it's well worth it but it may simply not be affordable for many people. Of course, if you hold only 100 KOM tokens your allocation will be tiny but here's the second unique feature - the allocation is proportional based on your KOM holdings. This not only is great for investing in IGOs but it also creates stronger demand for KOM token. Let me explain - while Seedify has been in my experience a very solid investment, for a lot of people, over 5k USD for the lowest guaranteed allocation is simply too much money. There’s also very little incentive to hold SFUND tokens in a range between tiers – for example, if you have 1,500 SFUND, your allocation will be the same as if you were holding 1,000 SFUND. This means that the holders are more likely to sell them, especially as the price goes up and there's an opportunity to make decent profit. Sure, you can earn rewards by staking your tokens but this is also true for many other launchpads. By introducing proportional allocation, Kommunitas is achieving two important benefits - it's a benefit for holders, as their allocation grows in line with the size of their KOM holdings but also, it increases the demand for the token, as there's an additional benefit to holding more of it. Finally, this is a relatively new project with a tiny market cap - just over 5 mil at the time of writing. Compare it to over BSCPad which is over 50 mil or Seedify and DAO Maker which are both in the 120-150 mil range or even Enjinstarter at 13 mil (and this is in the current, rather bearish market). It's quite easy to see that Kommunitas has a huge potential for growth. 2022 - the year of crypto gaming and the metaverse Considering how strong is the gaming/metaverse narrative, it is reasonable to assume that launchpads focused on gaming projects are likely to perform incredibly well in the coming months. While there are quite a few options to choose from, as I outlined above, I think that Kommunitas offers by far the lowest entry point and the best potential through its unique proportional allocation. The Best Gaming and Metaverse Launchpads in 2022

Despite the bearish sentiment, there are still ways to make quick gains with IDOs. Launchpads are mushrooming and the market is still full of IDOs being launched. Bitcoin achieved an all-time high of USD$68,000 in early November of 2021. The rest of the major altcoins like ETH, ADA, SOL and LUNAalso  soon hit their own all-time highs over the month following. It was a period of extreme bullishness for everyone investing in cryptocurrencies. Since its all-time high, Bitcoin’s price has seen extended weakness through the months of November to January. The bearishness was compounded by the uncertainties brought about by the Federal Reserve signaling its intention to remove the liquidity support it has provided to the economy since the Covid pandemic started. This frailty has afflicted the whole cryptocurrency market with almost all altcoins including meme coins seeing precipitous drops in their prices, very often surpassing that of Bitcoin’s in percentage terms. IDO Gains However, there is still a corner of the cryptocurrency market that has maintained its spark during these bearish times. Launchpads and IDOs (initial DEX offerings) have displayed amazing strength throughout. This is clearly a sign of the maturity of the crypto space, with investors still hunting for emerging gems that could be the next leading altcoins of the future. Most of us would be familiar with the price pattern above, most IDOs experienced a spike in prices post-launch before retracing backward. However, even after factoring in the retracement, most IDOs are still trading handsomely above their IDO or presale prices. Therefore, there is a simple investment strategy to be had by investing in IDOs for quick gains. There are numerous launchpads like Pinksale, Memepads, Anypad, Seedify, and others that are seeing a continuous stream of IDOs for investors to choose from. With so many IDOs, it is a difficult task to examine each one. However, let’s look at a few examples that illustrate the potential for making profits by investing in IDOs. First off is Affyn (FYN), a play-to-earn Metaverse project which just concluded its IDOs in the past week. At its height, FYN saw a 25X increase as compared to its IDO pricing. At the moment of writing this, FYN’s price is still about 500% of its launch price. Next off will be GangDoge and Comfy, both reflection tokens, that has seen prices peaking at 7X and 32X above IDO sale prices. Lastly, another IDO which has done well is the Age of Gods. This was listed in Pancake swap at the end of December, hitting a high of 10X above IDO price and still trading at about 3X at this moment. There are just too many of such blistering IDOs over the last 2 months to cover them here exhaustively. Investors should do their own research before investing in IDOs and nothing here should be taken as financial advice. Investing in IDOs is a high-risk venture and investors should be prepared to lose their investment. However, investors can consider adopting the portfolio approach by investing small amounts across numerous IDOs to benefit from the safety of diversification. Lastly, investors should not solely rely on the vetting process of some of these launchpads, with claims of curating the best projects for their members. This smacks of “picking the winner” and I am doubtful that these launchpads have any superior advantage over conscientious investors who do their own research. Despite the Bearish Sentiment, There are Still Ways to Make Quick Gains with IDOs

Since reaching its new all-time high in mid-November, Bitcoin’s been either going down or sideways for the last 6 weeks. As usual, whenever Bitcoin goes down, the whole crypto market follows, and even gaming and metaverse-related altcoins started sinking after a while. Times like this really highlight the benefits of holding tokens which can generative passive income through staking, providing liquidity, etc. I’m not talking here about projects like Wonderland, Olympus, or Jade Protocol, which promise 80,000% APY or more (there will be a separate article about those) but more ‘sensible’ projects with a solid long-term potential. Although there are different ways of earning interest on your crypto, usually, the most straightforward one is staking. Not every token can be staked, and the terms of staking can vary a lot. Make Sure You Always Check the Following: – it can be flexible, but it may also be fixed, often for 7, 14, 30, or 60 days. Sometimes it may be even a few months. Staking period – especially important on Ethereum blockchain due to potentially high gas fees. Cost of staking and un-staking (most likely yes, but you will lose some or all interest earned) Can you un-stake early? – this can vary greatly, from around 5% to over 50%, but the higher rates are often only available if you lock your tokens in for a longer period of time. APY In other words, are they still in your wallet but staked, or do you have to transfer them out of your wallet. (very often, it’s the latter) Do you retain custody of your tokens? (for example, this is true for Verasity or COTI, but the required amounts vary greatly) Is there a minimum amount required for staking? Here are the tokens I’m currently staking – and also a good comparison of different staking models: – needs no introduction. Very large market cap and one of the safest long-term projects. There are countless staking pools you can choose from (you can find the list here - https://adapools.org/), and you can expect around 5% APY. You can stake and un-stake whenever you want, and the rewards are paid out approximately every 5 days and added directly to the balance in your wallet. There’s no need to transfer the tokens out of your wallet – you simply authorize staking, so you retain the custody of your tokens. As it’s on the Cardano blockchain, the fees are close to none (around $1-2). Cardano (ADA) – you have to stake SFUND to participate in their IGOs (as long as you have minimum 1,000 SFUND tokens). Staking periods are 7, 14, 30, and 60 days, and APY is 5%, 11%, 25%, and 55%, respectively. The tokens are transferred out of your wallet, and the fees are below $1 as it’s on Binance Smart Chain. Seedify Fund (SFUND) – the tokens can be staked in your VeraWallet (but you have to transfer them there from your MetaMask or an exchange), and you earn your rewards daily at 0.07%, which equals 25.5% per year. You need a minimum of 10,000 VRA to be able to stake it, but at the current price of $0.035 (at the time of writing), this equals $350, so it’s pretty reasonable. It’s on the Ethereum blockchain, so just bear gas fees in mind. Verasity (VRA) Conclusion Let’s be honest, you probably won’t be able to live just from this passive income unless you stake A LOT. Nonetheless, it allows you to add more to your portfolio even when the market is bearish, and you will reap the true rewards once the market starts picking up again. How to Make Money from Crypto in a Bear Market

Photo by Fakurian Design on Unsplash What is an IGO? stands for IGO Initial Game Offering. It's similar to ICO – Initial Coin Offering and IDO – Initial DEX Offering. It’s a presale of tokens (available to pre-selected buyers) before they are listed on an exchange. While ICOs and IDOs can be for any type of token/project, IGOs, as the name implies, are only crypto games. The purpose of the IGO is to raise funds for the next stages of the game’s development, marketing, etc. This means investing at a very early stage and of course, this carries some risks as there’s no guarantee that the project will be completed or successful. However, the benefit of investing so early is that you’re buying the token at the lowest possible price and as a result, you can expect the value of the token to go up significantly (5x – 60x in my experience) within the first 48 hours... and potentially even more in the future. The main rule of making big gains (percentage-wise) in crypto is getting in early, before the price pumps… and you cannot get into a project any earlier than this (unless of course, you are one of the devs;). Launchpads You can find upcoming IGOs on launchpads. Launchpads are platforms designed for, well, launching new projects. They can be on different blockchains - Ethereum, BSC, Cardano, etc. Some may have games alongside other projects, while others are focused purely on games. They may have different criteria for accepting new projects and for the potential buyers to get whitelisted (being able to take part in an IGO). Also, some are likely to have more projects listed than others. There are many different launchpads but below are a few examples. Seedify Fund Game Fi Trust Pad Enjinstarter From my point of view, the four main criteria for selecting a launchpad are: 1. How frequently they launch new projects? How much it will cost me i.e. how many launchpad tokens do I have to purchase to have a guaranteed allocation in an IGO. 2. What are their criteria for a guaranteed allocation? The pool weight is your ‘slice of the pie’. It varies with each IGO (depends on how many investors are in the pool, at what tiers and how many tokens are for sale) but you can expect the bottom tier (weight 1-2) to be able to invest sometimes only around 20-30 USD in each IGO, while the top tiers might be able to invest around 3,000-5,000 USD. 3. What is the pool weight for each tier? This means that at lower tiers you certainly won’t become a millionaire anytime soon ;-). That’s the downside of pools that have a relatively low entry for guaranteed allocation – they are very attractive and have a lot of members. But as you can get 30-60x gains, you can turn for example 20 USD into 1,000 USD quite easily, which is still pretty cool  While the price of the tokens in an IGO is low, you have to remember that there’re still gas fees to consider. For example, Binance Smart Chain or Polygon have much lower fees than Ethereum. 4. Which network (blockchain) it’s using? How to Take Part in an IGO? There’s only one way - your wallet address must be on a whitelist, which is usually published a few hours or maybe a day before an IGO (for example on launchpad’s Telegram channel). There are two methods: How to get on the whitelist? Winning a spot in a lottery
. Guaranteed allocation (usually by holding a specific amount of launchpad tokens). Winning a spot in a lottery is pretty self-explanatory ;-). Sometimes the lottery is completely random, in other cases, holding a certain amount of launchpad tokens gives you higher chances of winning. For example, this is the case with Game Fi and Trust Pad. Having a guaranteed allocation is probably what most of us are interested in. It’s usually quite straightforward – you just need enough launchpad tokens in your wallet to qualify for a particular tier. The downside is that the amount is usually quite high, especially for larger allocations. How Does Guaranteed Allocation Work in Practice In this section, I will compare four launchpads (Seedify, Game Fi, Trust Pad and Enjin Starter) and the tiers they offer. Please bear in mind that over time, launchpads may change their tiers and of course the prices of their tokens will also change. Seedify Fund As you can see, you need between 250 and 100,000 SFUND tokens to participate in an IGO on and there are 9 tiers. Seedify Only Tier 1 is a lottery. From Tier 2 onwards (1,000 SFUND) you have guaranteed allocation in every IGO. SFUND token currently trades around 4.3 USD, although it was around 5.3 just a few days ago. At current prices, this means an investment of 4,300 to 430,000 USD for guaranteed allocations. It’s a lot of money but a few good IGOs can make it worthwhile. Also, the prices of many tokens went up a lot recently. I was talking about SFUND on and when the prices were between 2.9 and 3.3 USD (so it’s worth following me there;-) and during the summer market pullback you could easily get it for around 0.3 – 0.6 USD. This means that it was possible to get Tier 3 with around 1,000 USD! my YouTube channel Twitter Game Fi As you can see, has a slightly different approach – only 4 tiers and only the top one has guaranteed allocation. You need between 20 and 500 GAFI tokens, which at the current price of GAFI (68 USD) means anything between 1,360 and 34,000 USD. Game Fi Every 20 GAFI tokens give you one ‘lottery ticket’ so although tiers 1-3 are all lottery, tier 3 gives you a 20 times better chance of getting on the whitelist. Also, as it’s a lottery, the number of spots on the whitelist is known in advance so individual allocations are known upfront and higher than in the case of, for example, Seedify. Tier 1 (Rookie) of Game Fi is similar in allocation to Tier 3 of Seedify, and Tier 3 (Pro) is similar to Tier 7… but, it’s a lottery so you never know if you’ll be able to participate in an IGO. Trust Pad has 9 tiers and as you can see they’re a combination of lotteries with various weighting and guaranteed allocations. Trust Pad TPAD token currently trades around 0.46 USD (although you could get it for as little as 0.07 during the summer), so you need an investment of at least 1,380 USD to participate in the lottery or anything between 5,520 and 85,100 USD to have a guaranteed allocation. Trust Pad is not focused purely on games but there’s still a good number of IGO using it. Enjinstarter has yet another approach. 75% of the pool (the tokens which will be available in the IGO) is reserved for guaranteed allocations split between 3 tiers. Enjinstarter To participate, you have to hold between 25,000 and 500,000 EJS tokens, which at the current price of 0.13 USD amount to 3,250 – 65,000 USD. What’s different is that the remaining 25% of the pool is available to anyone who has at least 1 EJS token in their wallet. This is on the first-come, first-served basis, so it’s not the best solution but it’s nice that there are options available for those who may not necessarily be able to invest thousands into a launchpad coin. Stages of an IGO So how an IGO works in practice? This example is based on a recent launch of Bloktopia on Seedify. All upcoming IGOs are listed on Seedify’s website so you can see when the next one goes live. Private sale is for Tier 6 and above and public sale is for all other tiers. A few hours before the launch a whitelist is published on Seedify’s Telegram. If you have enough SFUND tokens in your wallet and you connected your wallet to Seedify launchpad previously, your wallet address will be on the whitelist. You can also see how much you can invest depending on your tier. These numbers will vary for every IGO. Also, make sure you have enough tokens (in this case BUSD) to purchase tokens during IGO. In the same message, there will be an information when exactly the IGO is taking place. You won’t have to rush as the window is usually 2-3 hours and your allocation is guaranteed (in this example) but you have to make sure you can access your computer in that window, otherwise, you lose your allocation. Once the IGO is live, you simply go to Seedify website and connect with your MetaMask. You will then have to authorise the transaction and pay gas. As it’s on BSC, the fees are very very low – but make sure you have some BNB in your wallet to pay for it! If not all IGO tokens sell, there will be a second phase the next day. This one is on a first-come, first-serve basis and the remaining tokens sell out in a couple of minutes max. You may need to increase your gas fee to have a chance. In that original message on Telegram, there will be also information when the token will be listed on an exchange and what is the vesting period. In the example below, you can see that you will receive 10% of your tokens once the IGO is completed, then 20% per month for the next 3 months and the remaining 30% in the final month. This also varies for each IGO. Sometimes it may be 50% once the IGO is completed and 50% after one month. The slower the release of tokens, the more stable the price as people can’t just dump them all immediately. On the day of listing the token on the exchange, you will find the following info on Telegram. Once you add this contract address manually to your MetaMask (pay attention of the network – the IGO was on BSC but this is a Polygon token so you have to add Polygon network to your MetaMask), the tokens will automatically appear in your wallet. Of course in this case, you will only receive the first 10%. The rest will be transferred after one month etc. Once the token is listed on the exchange, you can monitor the price and decide if you want to hold it or sell it. Selling Tokens In my experience, every IGO is generating profit straight away. For this IGO, I was only Tier 2 so could invest only 20.39 USD but BLOK token went up in value around 60x within the first 48 hours after listing. In other words, I could sell my 10% stake (so 2 USD worth of tokens) for 120 USD. It didn’t make me a millionaire but it’s not a bad result ;-) And I still have 90% of BLOK tokens coming in the next few months. One note – I had to make sure I have some Matic tokens on Polygon network in my MetaMask to pay for gas to sell those BLOK tokens. The fees are very small but still. Also, it’s important that these Matic tokens are on Polygon network, not Ethereum network in your wallet – some tokens can exist on different networks but you cannot just send ERC-20 (Eth) Matic to Polygon address as you’ll burn those tokens! You can use a bridge but the cost of gas makes it quite expensive. Conclusion IGOs present an amazing opportunity to make some serious gains but you have to invest a fair chunk on money in launchpad tokens. But even with much smaller investment you can still have a reliable source of modest income… at least in a bull market ;-). But the biggest opportunity (especially at higher tiers as your investment is more substantial) is the chance to get super early into gaming projects, which not only have a great potential for growth but also are a good hedge against bear market. A Complete Guide to Initial Game Offerings (IGOs)

Photo by Steve Johnson on Unsplash So, you've probably heard multiple stories about projects that grew anywhere between 50x and 1000x, and turned people into millionaires. In fact, that’s why most people become interested in crypto. Naturally, they would like to become success stories as well. Many turn to following various crypto influencers and jumping into projects mentioned in their videos or tweets. Of course, as thousands of others are doing the same thing, there’s a very high likelihood that these projects have already increased in price quite a bit before you managed to get in. Ideally, you need to find something new.  But how does one pick the right project when there are close to 10,000 coins currently listed on CoinGecko? In this article, I will talk about few things to look for when trying to find a project with 10-100x potential for growth. Below are some of the questions you should ask yourself: What is the purpose of the project? Kind of obvious, but it’s crazy how often people just invest in a project simply because "they’ve heard about it." But they have no idea what it actually does. You should always read the whitepaper and critically analyze it or at the very least, go through all the information on the website, announcements and updates on social media etc. Ask yourself the following questions: -       Does this project offer something new? -       Is it better or different from other similar projects? -       Is it easy to understand? -       Is it easy to use/interact with? Every ecosystem (Ethereum, Cardano, Polkadot, Solana, etc.) will always need few core protocols – a dex, a launchpad, an oracle and some sort of a defi platform (borrowing and lending). When new ecosystem is being developed or gains functionality, these projects are the ones to look for. For example, Cardano recently successfully enabled smart contracts on its mainnet and we’re currently in a phase where these protocols are being developed to bring full functionality to Cardano. Of course, the difficulty is that there are multiple projects in each category and no one knows, which ones will become the most popular and therefore valuable. Unique ideas are great but an average idea with great implementation will often beat a great idea with poor implementation. Take Apple as an example – their ideas are rarely new and groundbreaking but what made the company successful is how they implement these ideas (often in a form of sleek design), backed up by solid marketing… which brings me on to the next point. Does this project have a strong community? The success of a particular token depends on two things: usability and marketing. There are multiple dexes, launchpads, oracles, defi protocols etc. The ones that perform best are often not necessarily the best ones or the ones that were first to the market but rather the projects that have the biggest following, strongest community and biggest support from the influencers. Check out all main social media channels of every project you’re interested in – Twitter, Telegram, Discord. Is there a lot of chatter about it? Are any crypto influencers talking about it? Of course, there’s a bit of a paradox here – if a project is already popular, then most likely it has already pumped quite a bit and you’re a bit too late to get maximum gains. So, you have two options here: 1. Either take the risk on a project that has a lot going for it but so far pumped very little and still has low market cap. 2. Or pick a project, which dumped massively during a market correction. Some examples of solid projects, which had a lot of support earlier in the year but are now in the gutter are Blank (secure, private, non-custodial wallet - still down around 89%), CardStarter (launchpad on Cardano – down 87%) or Oraichain (oracle, down 92%). If these projects go back to their previous ATHs, you can get easily 8-10x, which is already pretty good but the expectation is that they will go much higher than that, once Bitcoin hits the new ATH. Is it something trendy? (Or Likely to Soon Become Trendy) You may have already noticed that there are periods when particular crypto projects become very popular. Summer 2020 was all about DeFi. Earlier this year, we’ve seen a sudden spike in interest in NFTs, which then happened again on an even bigger scale around August-September. In recent weeks, crypto gaming (P2E - play to earn) started picking up quite rapidly. Unsurprisingly, projects within these areas are likely to perform better however, they may also dip more if the attention shifts to something else. On the other hand, if the attention is on them, they can easily outperform the market, even when the market overall turns bearish, as we’ve seen with NFTs this summer.
