Creatv MicroTech's mission is to dramatically reduce global cancer mortality through early detection. Our innovative blood test can detect cancer in the earliest stages, even before symptoms. It can also confirm whether a patient is responding to treatment and surveil for early signs of recurrence after treatment has finished. Clinical application of this highly sensitive and specific test will improve cancer treatment outcomes. Cancer touches all of us. Almost 40% of Americans are currently expected to receive a diagnosis of cancer in their lifetime. Over half of these diagnoses occur after significant progression, in stages 3 and 4, making it difficult to achieve successful therapeutic outcomes. Early detection with high accuracy is needed for all major cancers. Nearly 14.5 million Americans are living with a history of cancer, many in remission under surveillance for possible recurrence. Early detection of recurrence enables faster response and improved outcomes. Our CellSieve diagnostic platform uncovered a previously unknown cell in the blood of cancer patients, the cancer associated macrophage-like cell (CAML). These cells are very large and distinctly different from normal cells and circulating tumor cells (CTCs). We found these CAMLs in patients with solid tumors, but not in healthy individuals. CAMLs are highly informative, because they contain markers of the cancer type and indicate sensitivity or resistance to particular treatments. Unlike CTCs, CAMLs are found in all stages of cancer, including stage I. Together, CAMLs and CTCs provide a unique capability for early detection of cancer, monitoring treatment, and watching for recurrence. CellSieve is currently in research use at leading cancer clinics in the US and eight foreign countries.

Shenandoah: A Low-Pause-Time Garbage Collector: — Java development team is going to make a couple of significant changes to the G1 garbage collector. The main aim of changes in G1 garbage collector is to maintain the same consistent pause times. It is implemented with the help of new garbage collection (GC) algorithm named Shenandoah which reduces GC pause times by doing evacuation work concurrently with the running Java threads on a program. Pause times with Shenandoah are independent of heap size, that means you can able to maintain the same consistent pause times whether your heap is 200 MB or 200 GB. Microbenchmark Suite: — Add a basic suite of microbenchmarks to the JDK source code, and make it easy for developers to run existing microbenchmarks and create new ones. The microbenchmark suite will be co-located with the JDK source code in a single directory and, when built, will produce a single JAR file. Co-location will simplify adding and locating benchmarks during development. When running benchmarks, JMH provides powerful filtering capabilities that allow the user to run only the benchmarks that are currently of interest. The exact location remains to be determined. Goals: Based on the [Java Microbenchmark Harness (JMH)][1] Stable and tuned benchmarks, targeted for continuous performance testing A stable and non-moving suite after the Feature Complete milestone of a feature release, and for non-feature releases.                        `; JVM Constants API: — The purpose of implementing new constants API is to make it easier for programs that manipulate class files to model bytecode instructions, which have to handle loadable constants. Broadly speaking every Java class has a constant pool which stores the operands for bytecode instructions in the class. and It also has a constant pool, Each entry in the table is a loadable constant and has the following format: cp_info {

} The specifies what type the constant is — tag For E.g:- 7 means it’s Class, 10 is a Method Reference, 8 is a String, etc... The array gives more information about the constant depending on the constant type. info JVM instructions, e.g. and instructions, rely on the information in this table (rather than the run-time layout of classes, interfaces, etc). When these instructions are executed, the loadable constant becomes a live value, E.g. a Class, String, int, etc. LDC invoke dynamic Programs that work with class files have to model these bytecode instructions and deal with the loadable constants. If the constant type is something like a String or an Integer, this works without issue because those are primitive data types. But when it comes to classes and interfaces it becomes more complicated. Loading classes are not always straightforward, and there are several ways it can fail, for example, if the Class does not exist or cannot be accessed. then it might cause an issue, To avoid that problem — This is where JEP 334 comes in. In Java 12 there is now an API so that these values can be handled symbolically. For example, there is an interface called ClassDesc which can be used to symbolically represent a loadable constant of type Class, MethodHandleDesc to represent method handle constants, MethodTypeDesc to represent method type constants and so on. One AArch64 Port, Not Two: — Remove all of the sources related to the arm64 port while retaining the 32-bit ARM port and the 64-bit aarch64 port. Removing this port will allow all contributors to focus their efforts on a single 64-bit ARM implementation, and eliminate the duplicate work required to maintain two ports. This feature was implemented to improve the effectiveness in the development. Default CDS Archives: — Enhance the JDK build process to generate a class data-sharing (CDS) archive, using the default class list, on 64-bit platforms. The goal of implementing the Default CDS Archives is — Improve out-of-the-box startup time. Eliminate the need for users to run to benefit from CDS. -Xshare:dump Currently, a JDK image includes a default class list, generated at build time, in the directory. Users who want to take advantage of CDS, even with just the default class list provided in the JDK, must run as an extra step. This option is documented, but many users are unaware of it. To overcome this issue they come with default CDS Archives — lib java -Xshare:dump . Since they are making CDS Archive as auto we can use directly but if you want to disable it then run the command -Xshare:off Abortable Mixed Collections for G1: — Make G1 mixed collections abortable if they might exceed the pause target. for the complete description of . I have the privilege of being a member of the Government Blockchain Association. GBA advocates for laws, regulations, and usage of blockchain technology to improve governance and the delivery of public goods and services. While I enjoy writing about bitcoin and altcoins, I enjoy thinking and talking about how to use cryptocurrency. really In fact, I wrote partly because I found very little literature that showed people how a country could use cryptocurrency for good purposes. Consensusland Working with GBA, I get to step back and look at the bigger picture. Really dig into the practical benefits of crypto. While many people point to decentralization and permissionless networks as the best part of crypto, the real power comes from the use of tokens to exchange things. Old concept, new form Tokenization is not new. According to many historians, people have used tokens forever. We’ve used shells, coins, points, stickers, and all sorts of real items to represent things that we can’t see. For example, wealth, authority, and accomplishments. Some economists and anthropologists think tokenization is how we got money in the first place. Across many societies and throughout history, priests, kings, and city administrators used tokens to reward people for goods brought for sacrifice, tribute, or distribution to workers. Scribes would record the items, their owner, and their destination. They’d also use tokens to account for all the “stuff” coming in (they didn’t have spreadsheets back then). In some places, they used metal coins. In other places, they wove beads into fabrics. Sometimes, they used jewels, shells, stones, small ax heads, and other items. Authorities would use pretty much anything that they could fashion into standard units. As long as people found the tokens meaningful, they used them. Standardization is key Since each token had the same value, authorities could set uniform weights and measures. E.g., 1 silver coin for each barrel of wine, 2 silver coins for each bushel of wheat. Each token had equal value and everybody knew who it belonged to. As a result, people could use the tokens outside the temples and courts. And they did. Merchants used them to settle contracts and negotiate prices. Workers accepted them as payment for services. Lenders collected them as collateral and reserves. Some noticed that a silver coin in one town could buy twice as much as it could in another town. They started bartering the tokens for goods — selling goods for tokens in the higher-cost towns, then selling the tokens for goods in the lower-cost towns. Others discovered different groups of people preferred one type of token to another. This lead them to barter and trade foreign currencies (e.g., gold for pelts). Over time, this led to other financial innovations like arbitrage, taxes, bookkeeping, seigniorage, and credit. Tokens themselves evolved into many forms, including cash. But tokens have limitations While tokens are really useful, they have drawbacks. For example, you usually can’t split them into very small units. Storing them isn’t always easy, and what happens if you lose them? Sometimes, their value changes or they go out of circulation. Other times, people don’t accept them. After all, you can’t use Ghanaian cedis at your local grocery store. (Unless you live in Ghana.) On top of that, you need some shared authority to guarantee others that your tokens are real and that you have permission to use them. Often, you need a trustworthy intermediary to deliver your tokens to another person. Sometimes, that “somebody” charges fees, defrauds you, lies to you, steals from you, colludes against you, takes your sensitive personal information, loses your stuff, or arbitrarily changes the terms of your transaction. And, at the end of the day, you don’t control your tokens. Somebody else decides how much they’re worth, what they’re made of, and who can have them. People have found many ways to solve this problem: governments, settlement houses, clearinghouses, laws, courts, accountants, contracts, and many other innovations. All entail some risk, cost, complexity, and the chance of human error. All can be corrupted. None can be scaled. It’s hard and expensive to create any uniformity or standardization of output. Until now Cryptocurrency eliminates these problems. With cryptocurrency, you can program tokens to ensure everybody follows the same rules. Blockchain guarantees transactions will go through exactly as you intend, with none of the risks noted above. Math assures you all tokens have the same value. You no longer need to rely on government decrees, local regulations, or the good faith of strangers. Blockchain does that for you, with cryptocurrency to settle the deal. You can safely transact with millions of people who you have never met, with whom you have no relationship, who live in a country with different laws and regulations. You can create huge, global marketplaces or tiny, local microeconomies. You control everything you have Using cryptocurrency, you can record anything on a blockchain, secure it for posterity, and send it to anybody. Literally anything — shoes, houses, instructions, pets, wagers, financial assets…anything. Nobody can tamper with those records. Once you program that data into a token, you can preserve and track ownership with mathematical precision. Blockchain ensures global transparency without sacrificing privacy. Each token captures all your rights and privileges. A private key ensures only you have access to your tokens. You can divide your tokens into tiny amounts and give them to others. Or combine a bunch of tokens into a new financial product. Or stash them in a private wallet for posterity. You can do whatever you want. That crypto is yours. Not an IOU or certificate, but verifiable proof of ownership. No disputes, mathematically assured, uncensorable. Verify, don’t trust. In time, smart contracts will let you divide those tokens into secured claims and pass them down to your children. Legal frameworks will allow you to delegate roles and permissions digitally, just like you already do with paper forms and contracts. Micropayments will help people enter the market even if they have little money or influence. For the first time, you can create financial networks where everybody can participate. Not a way to make money, just a way to exchange things Does this idea clash with the “price go up” vision of crypto? Yes. People won’t use tokens if they think they’re going to be worth more in the future. Instead, they’ll hoard them. But you can design away those flaws. Tokens need not have intrinsic value or any expectation that they’ll go up in price. In fact, in many cases, it’s better if they don’t. Consider electricity markets. The world wastes hundreds of billions of dollars worth of energy. Some places produce more than they need while other places face chronic shortages. Without getting too technical, this happens because you have layers of middlemen and intermediaries to make the power grids function properly. They calculate load, balance distribution, streamline regulations across jurisdictions, service customers, and do all sorts of valuable things. Sometimes they’re incompetent or corrupt. Sometimes they just fail, despite their best intentions. Often, they dictate terms based on what’s best for themselves, not the people they serve. And they all charge for their services. But, since they control the supply and delivery of electricity, you have to accept them. Enter the token What would happen if you represented each unit of electricity with a token and recorded it on a blockchain? With smart contracts or APIs, you could program specific rules for when electricity moves and on what terms. Once you digitize the data, homes and businesses can get a read-out of their consumption at any moment. Inventors can create machines or programs to cycle power on or off among appliances in a single location or across the network. Utility companies can collect usage data for system upgrades and improvements. That electricity token would represent ownership of electrical power or a right to use it. You could buy, sell, and swap tokens as needed to keep the lights on. You could embed carbon credits or certifications into each transaction. (Meanwhile, the electrical company could get to “mint” new tokens each time it transmits power to users, preserving its revenue stream. After each unit of electricity gets consumed, an equivalent amount of tokens gets burned.) You can cut out layers of middlemen and let the market sort everything out while making it easier for people to get electricity and obey local regulations. Already reality While this specific idea comes purely from my imagination, it’s based on several projects experimenting with similar concepts in different ways. Some of these projects use their own cryptocurrency while some peg their tokens to local currency. For others, the tokens have no financial value — simply keep track of how much electricity each person uses. While this example only applies to electricity, the idea of tokenization goes beyond that. For example, the World Bank issues some bonds on a blockchain. JP Morgan and IBM use blockchain to move their clients’ assets. Several real estate projects have issued equity and secured land records with blockchain technology. Abu Dhabi plans to put everything on blockchain. One step closer to a fully-tokenized economy. Prepare Yourself for the Tokenization of Everything

“Why is it that the cryptocurrencies that were supposed to launch a new age of decentralized finance, are more centralized than even the Federal Reserve System in the U.S.?”  was one of the main questions that shot through Dato Kavazi’s head back in 2017.  As one of the co-founders of Paradigm, a crypto fund and research institute known for their thorough analytics, he was one of the many who were hopeful about the possibilities that decentralized finance could bring to the global economy, but at the same time was stumped by the fact that mining cartels and validator oligopolies seemed to dominate the market. As of mid 2021, 7 mining pools, or groups of people, actually control 55% of the entire Bitcoin network, Ethereum has 3 pools that control 51%, and even for the newer platforms such as Polkadot, the top 20 stakers hold 66% of the network. The main issue, according to Dato, is in the framework of Sybil resistance - network’s security model. “Sybil resistance in modern Proof-of-Work and Proof-of-Stake based consensus mechanisms is 100% capital based, making them plutocracies at the very core” says Dato.  “There is nothing wrong with money making money, or people striving for wealth, but when money does all the talking, this affects the governance of the DAO, it limits participation of ordinary people, and the systems become limited to the point that they limit their own future growth”. The solution that Dato came up with was a consensus mechanism based on human biometrics. By using human biometrics as the stake, there was the possibility of developing a consensus mechanism that was based on one human biometric ID, one validator node. The goal was clear, move from PoW and PoS mechanisms, to Proof-of-Uniqueness and Proof-of-Existence models.  The problem was that in 2017, the technology to create such a system was simply nonexistent. For the following few years, Dato, along with Paradigm co-founder Victor Smirnov slowly developed what a biological ID-based truly decentralized platform could bring. As time passed, the technological barriers that stood in their way dissipated, and in 2020, Dato and Victor started to assemble a team, and the Humanode project was born. “Using private biometric technology, Humanode will be the first crypto-biometric network where one human equals one node. This not only solves the issue of having to rely on capital based Sybil resistance, but it allows innovative governance models to evolve in the crypto industry, and establishes a secure and private biometric identification solution for decentralized protocols and Dapps” says Victor. The solution: Crypto-Biometrics Naturally, when people hear the word “biometrics”, the first thing that comes to mind is the issue of security, especially when it comes to decentralized platforms. After all, biometrics is the most private of private data, and the fear of having someone “take over your identity” is all too real. “That is why our biometric authentication team came up with the concept of crypto-biometrics,” says Rafa, a cryptographer, and Humanode core team member. “Crypto-biometrics was born from the need to devise a way to create decentralized pseudonymous identities that establish a reliable Sybil defense that keeps the identities of the users private, while allowing the existence of real human beings to be auditable in a decentralized fashion” Although the advancement of biometric technology is breathtaking, and there are a large number of biometric modalities that can be chosen from, including but not limited to facial recognition, iris, retina, fingerprint, finger vein, palm print, hand vein, ear, and eye vein, securing the information by simply encrypting it is not enough when the information needs to be distributed amongst tens of thousands of computers across the globe. Thus, in order to ensure absolute security and privacy, crypto-biometrics is based on a combination of various technologies and exists at the intersection of mathematics, information security, cybersecurity, Sybil resistance, biometric technology, liveness detection, zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) technologies, homomorphic encryption, and blockchain technology. “What we needed was a way to prove that a person who wants to create a node in the Humanode network is actually a human being, meaning not a mask, photo, or deepfake, and that the person does not already own a node.  If the person is already a human node, then we need to verify that that user is who he or she says they are'', says lead Humanode developer, MOZGIII. “Once mainnet is launched, we will most likely require a user to submit 2 or 3 biometric modalities for authentication, but for the beta testnet launch scheduled in September, all we will require is the user go through live video based face recognition and liveness detection”. Once a user goes through a video-based 3D face scan and liveness detection to launch a node, the 3D face mapping vector of the neural network is converted to numerical values and is encrypted. When the node is launched, the homomorphically encrypted user identity is sent to all the nodes in the network, and these nodes in turn store the received encrypted feature vectors for 1 to n matching operations.  The 1 to n matching happens in an encrypted space, and the only information that can be given out is if the user is registered or not, and if so, if the person logging in to an account is indeed the registered user or not.  It is important to note that the video and actual biometric data used to create the encrypted 3D feature vector, never leaves the node of the user, and is never shared with any 3rd party, not even with the Humanode network. “The key,” says Dato, “is to make biometric identification secure, private, and accessible enough for anybody to use, without having to put up too much capital. However, the ultimate technological goal is to create a real-time Proof-of-Existence mechanism based on internal biometric modalities, such as microchip implants, neurosignatures on brain-computer interfaces and DNA-matching”. “Humanode will make SciFi a reality.” says Alex Ye, Managing Director of Republic Crypto, a strategic partner of Humanode, “Biometric digital identities are a crucial step forward in disrupting the otherwise plutocratic governance, staking, and validation schemes today. Crypto-biometrics will undoubtedly be omnipresent far beyond just cryptocurrencies, and now with a foreseeable horizon.” What makes Humanode unique? Humanode is currently based on a Snow-family consensus mechanism customized to work with biometrics and rapidly process EVM-compatible smart contracts on thousands of homogenous human nodes, and any existing protocol can integrate 1 human = 1 vote DAO into their protocols, making them fairer and more decentralized. Humanode based crypto-biometrics is also inalienable.  So, from medical info to legal documents and NFT’s, Humanode can bind any digital entity to a user’s biology, allowing the advancement of a wide range of decentralized services including but not limited to financial services tied into a credit score, insurance, fair launch / airdrops, Sybil resistant marketplaces, and yield farming. However, what makes Humanode truly unique, are the concepts that are woven into the Humanode platform itself. : As the Humanode network is based on a one person = one node = one vote system, there is no need for the founders, or a small group of people to hold on to a majority of the tokens and voting power.  As the power that one node holds is equal to other nodes, transaction fees are distributed equally amongst the human nodes, all nodes will equally own the technology developed in the network, and will equally reap the benefits of the network. Co-ownership :  The amount of emission is defined by the Fath protocol algorithm, which calculates the difference between real value creation of the network (rVC), in two different time periods. The rVC could be considered to be the network's GDP. If the rVC in the second period is different from the rVC in the first, then the algorithm calculates the percentage difference and changes the monetary supply by the same percentage.   Issuance is distributed proportionally across every account in the network. That means that token holders always own the same % of the token supply.  What makes Fath unique is that Fath combats both devaluation of currency and negative effects of deflation, unlike the current fiat-based currencies. The FATH-based Monetary Algorithm : As all validators in Humanode are equal and have the same hardware requirements, we can calculate how much validators spend, to create a cost-based fee model, making fees stable in dollar value despite token price fluctuations. Fees are not defined by some market, but by a strict formula. Price of tx = Computation + GB per period * Tx size * ∞ Persistence Time. In public blockchains, all the incoming transactions stand in one straight queue and no one can pay more to hop in before the others. Humanode's cost-based approach with a strict Formula makes fees very stable and cheap. Cost-Based Fee System : Governance in the Humanode Network will be decentralized from genesis and is known as the Vortex. The Vortex rules over all changes and proposals in the network, and any human node has the right to become a governor.  Governors will have different rights according to their ranks, and ranks are based on Proof-of-Time, and Proof-of-Devotion, meaning that devotion in the system is valued more than the riches one has. In other words, money does not automatically give you a bigger voice. Having said that, ranks do not give any additional voting powers to their holders.  The governing rank only determines what topics a governor can directly vote on or propose to the network, and give them the ability to promote others' proposals on crucial matters. The ranks are governor, senator, legate, and consul. The Humanode DAO - Vortex Shannon Higgins, a core member of Humanode says that the ultimate goal of Humanode is to pave the way for a true global economy that transcends the boundaries of nations, race, faith, gender, and wealth, to emerge. “I am not naïve enough to believe that we will be able to accomplish this with our endeavor alone, but I do believe that the problems that we can solve through technological advancement, along with the concepts of fairness, inclusiveness, and accessibility that are core to the Humanode project can perhaps open the door to a whole new generation of ideas and ideals that can mold the path to an inclusive true global economy”. The foundation for the success of any decentralized platform and project, not only lies in its technology that it develops and utilizes, or the concepts that they try to realize, but to a larger degree, the community that emerges from it.“ The success or failure of the Humanode project, truly lies in the hands of the community” says Dato. “Especially considering that every single human node will have an equal voice and co-ownership of the network.  So, we would like to reach out to each and every one who finds the Humanode concept intriguing, and would like you to get involved in whatever way you can”. Humanode has scheduled its testnet launch for September 2021, and mainnet launch for June 2022.
